Keir Starmer

My boss once read our teams chat see what or if we were slagging off about, thankfully we only do it verbally ;-)

Any boss who thinks his staff don't have a name for them or gets slagged or piss taken out of them from time to time is a bit sensative

I’m struggling to see what the grounds for dismissal are.

We get the biggest Tory critics refusing to vote Labour and blaming anyone but themselves.

They will oppose Starmer but pretend to be devastated if the Tories pull off another 1992 but not realise they are to blame.

Then continue to complain about every Tory policy. CF.

I will vote Labour but with a heavy heart. I feel I must, out of duty, to remove this vile Tory government and replace it with the only practicable alternative.

This is even though I disagree with a great deal of what Starmer stands for this week. To quote M. Thatcher: 'There is no alternative.'

I want PR voting, and if/when we get it I shall almost certainly never vote Labour again. Though I won't vote for the Tories or the batshit crazies to their right.

Couldn't have put it better myself.

You know what, mate, you can vote with whatever you want and if it‘s with a heavy heart you may as well give up and just go with your first choice.

Vote what you think, whether that be Labour, Tory, LD, or any of the other, but don’t just throw populist traits out and diminish your opinion.

There is no point in voting for tinpot parties that have no chance of being elected.

I want the Tories out. Preferably for my lifetime and that is my incentive to vote for the only practicable alternative. (In my constituency.)

As it happens, Labour will win the seat whether I vote or not. So I could sit on my hands. However, I regard voting as a civic duty, especially at times like this.

If I lived somewhere where the Lib-Dem, Green, Plaid or SNP candidate was best placed to beat the Tories, I would vote for them.

Who are they?

To summarise your 2 posts, you will vote Labour with a heavy heart, you disagree with Starmer greatly, you want PR but Starmer won't deliver it. Labour will get in whether you vote for them or not.

Pmsl the logic of the great British public.
