Keir Starmer

also they seem to be the ones most likely to fly it upside down - funny that as they are all patriots

A group of society want to fly flags
A section of that group put flag upside down
Ergo more people who fly flags put it upside down compared to people who do not fly flags at all.

Colour me shocked.

I can’t wait for more of your pearls of wisdom. Tune in next week for “more people who smoke buy cigarettes” thrilling revelation.

It's the flag of the Communist Party of Great Britain Marxist-Leninist, a fringe organisation, and their title betrays the fact they are a the product of factional schisms.

Who has a fringe party of a fringe movement that has never held power in the UK oppressed?

Thanks for confirming that centrist dad leans towards the Daily Express right though.

Wasn’t Sir Keir once of that parish? Not a criticism, just an observation, and I might be wrong if he was ever a member.

Starmer certainly held beliefs and as he said fairly recently that’s his opinion hadn’t really changed on the big issues. Mind you he never really said what he thinks are the big issues. All things to all men and all that.

In fairness Blair was also a proper leftie as a youngster and he didn’t string up the landed from their flagpoles.

Thiiinnngs ...

Is this something to do with how OFWAT has been operating, allowing water/sewage companies to get away with everything while spending massive amounts on consultancy firms that are aligned with said companies?

Feargal Sharkey has been campaigning for the disbandment of OFWAT, saying that they’re not fit for purpose and allowing the water companies to get away with dumping shit in our waters. OFWAT could almost be seen as working for the water companies.

Only reason I can think why Labour, who are majoritively against water companies profiteering from polluting our waters, would act this way.

All about 'growth' .... apparently.

Labour MPs voted with the government, and it is understood this is because they did not want to be accused of being “anti-growth”.

No he was never a member of CPGB-ML. They were formed in 2004 after a split from Scargill's Socialist Labour Party (formed in 1996).

They're Stalinists. The magazine he wrote for was Trotskyist.

There was also this from last year .... about the same time an ex Labour MP who went on to be a lobbyist for the water industry was welcomed back in to the fold. Someone quite content with the colour of the water having a 'funny tinge' ;-)
