Keir Starmer

It's deeply concerning that he would choose to do something as needlessly destructive as this during a general election campaign that he's already nailed on to win. He's timid AF.

His ability to read the public mood and make judgements is extremely poor. Rather than try to sell any thoughtful or progressive ideas he's just trying to look tough by doing things like this.

One of the tweets that's been cited against her is where she liked a tweet about someone stepping down from the green party years before she even joined labour. This is thought police type bollocks. He's a total embarrassment.

It was ever thus. The Bennites in the early 80s, Blair. This from 1999 talking about Blair’s continued internal reforms.

The Labour leadership will embark on the final stage of internal party reform this weekend by moving to break the stranglehold of leftwing "cliques" in local constituency parties.

A consultation paper - titled 21st Century Party: members the key to our future - will be published on Sunday and is likely to be the most explosive issue at next week's party conference in Bournemouth.’

Two years after his win, Blair was still working to keep a firm grip on the party. It’s pretty much standard Labour operating procedure :)

No, you may as well wipe your arse with it, no overall majority isn't even worth it at 8/1. It would take something pretty fucked up to stop Keith winning.

He could be caught beating up a palenstinian child and west dids and Bob would vote for him.
Along with about 50% of the electorate.

It will not matter who is next leader, because whoever it is will be subjected to horrific attacks from the far right wing media.

The greatest con trick of all time has just happened before our eyes and the establishment have won, they will be popping their champagne corks and laughing at the plebs who voted for them knowing they can now enact their capitalist wankfest.

The country I love is fucked, it doesn't matter who leads our great party anymore, we are on the way to a one party state, run by the wealthy for the wealthy and loads of fucking daft cunts voted for it to be like that.

Solidarity comrades, its all we have, keep up the good fight and stay safe, those fucking clowns who voted for the tories will need us at some point in the future and we will have to be there for them and help pick up the pieces of the imminent disaster.
Benevolent Familyships are the way forward.

A remarkable example of a harmonious, multi cultural, uber safe developing union.

Starmer is playing a canny game. Remember the film 'War Games' where the computer that controls the USA nuclear weaponry decided that he would not play as there can be no winner. Starmer has decided that the best policy is not to play and has no policies so nobody can object. It appears to be a brilliant winning strategy.

Different era Bob. No denying that factionalism is standard operating procedure in the Labour party but in the heady days of the 90's they won majorities with Benn, Corbyn, Galloway, Abbott and numerous others within their ranks. A broad church if you like. These days you get binned for sharing a platform with Ken Loach or liking a tweet.

So where does this standard operating procedure lead to when they've purged all the obvious targets and are left fighting among themselves? Not stable and competent government is my prediction. The knives will be out on Starmer within 2 years and they will be coming from the right.
