Keir Starmer

No, because it doesn’t happen in fact our children grew up in a town that has a single use changing room going back 20 years, did they change with trans people ,I haven’t the faintest idea. Where you may have a point is sport, but that’s down to sports bodies not politics.
You’re making up scenarios that are complete bollocks to fit some political bull shit, like some debating society, meanwhile in the real world where there have always been trans people in society and the sky hasn’t fallen in.
Do you think trans people in general society is a new thing, or something you can stop? How about gay people should they be denied rights too?

Everyone has the right to live their life.

As you note, that's not my issue. I think trans-women/ men should declare they are trans and let the person they are hoping for a relationship with doesn't mind.

Otherwise, if you're expecting to have a life with someone and have a DNA family with them (half yours, half theirs), then this will cause issues and resentment in that particular relationship. I've known a VERY beautiful trans-woman, but hadn't had the op (at the time 20 years ago). I thought back then, and even now, she would have to let the other person know.

Everybody, within a romantic or sporting situation, MUST know and let them make their choice from there.

it's not unreasonable.

Of course they don't.

Forever voting against their own interests.

However, at least SOME disciplines are saying no to the entry of trans in some sports.

They want WOMEN to compete fairly.
It is telling that only biological males pretending to be women want to compete in women's sport, yet biological females pretending to be men don't seem to want to compete against real men

Exactly.

You see it all the time that even some of the weakest guys can savagely beat trans-men in a physical sport. It's stupid, unfair and unsafe.

Have any of the outraged on here actually done anything about these issues, or is it limited to trying to score a point against Starmer on a football forum?

I’ve only ever encountered this rage online. Absolutely nothing about it in real life.

No it isn’t but not sure what politicians have to do with that deception, maybe there is already a law about deliberately misleading somebody I don’t know. This debate isn’t about that.
What this is about is do trans people have the right to decide their preferred sex themselves and be know by that sex or another label if they like, then to have rights appropriate for that person.
For any politician to deny that isn't their place. Sunak and some tories are trying to deny that right to be known as another sex, only by their biological birth sex.Thats the box they are trying to put Starmer in by asking the question what is a woman, it’s a trick question he is trying to avoid and getting himself tied in knots, but it isn’t a legitimate question..

You are born either male or female and will remain whatever sex you are born until the day you die. You can live your life as a member of the opposite sex, but if you are born male then you will always be male.
