Keir Starmer

It’s both really though. So many people didn’t see their relatives dying or go to their funerals to help stop the spread of Covid.

These fuckers made the rules and ignored them, breaking the law and then lied about ignoring them.

Its not both when it’s work. Lockdown didn’t happen work wise for millions of us. Every day we went to work and did what we always did and so Starmer and co eating a meal and having a can of ale after a days graft is neither here nor there for me in the same way it’s ridiculous to think people couldn’t wish someone happy birthday etc.

The issue is the lies that then followed instead of just fucking admitting it.

I don't care if Kier Starmer had beer and curry.
Would it be different if he had coffee and pizza?
I don't care if birthday cake was served or not in Downing Street.

What I care about is that the PM thinks it's acceptable to blatantly lie to you, me and the rest of the population inside parliament and outside parliament again and again and again.

When the PM may tell us something in future that may be very important, such as Russia using chemical weapons, I want to have some confidence that the PM is telling the truth. Wars were started from similar statements.

If Boris told me that it was raining, I'd call the dog in to see if it's wet to check.

One thing I won't do is pander to the ranting of the Daily Mail.

Very much this!

It is both when it‘s work. It’s not having a piece of cake or a can of ale after work, it’s having a full blown party.

Have you been handed a fine by the police for breaking Covid rules?

The lies afterwards exacerbate it further.

If it was just the 9 minute birthday party and cake Johnson would have got away with it. It’s the dozens of other “work events” in Downing Street and the clear disdain for the rules from all those working there that is the problem, and the reason for that disdain is the man at the top and the culture set by him. If we ever see the unredacted Sue Gray report it will all be spelt out but there’s enough pictures and testimony in the public domain for us to know it’s true. One or two pictures can be taken out of context but not hundreds.

First thing you have to consider is in Starmers case there was one event it happened whilst the team were out canvassing late in the evening. He didn't deny it had happened because there were pics of him having a beer.

In Johnsons case it has turned out to be a couple of dozen events - events which he was appalled to learn had happened and torched Allegra Strattons career to save his own skin- but then had happened but he was assured that all rules had been followed - then finally when a pic of him was revealed in the garden so it was " Yeah yeah I was there but all rules were followed. " We have to wait for Sue Gray - then we have to wait for the Met so Sue Gray can report.

Sue Gray has been given at least 300 snaps of those events -some featuring Johnson have gone public and for that reason and considered AGAINST THE LAWS IN FORCE AT THE TIME he has received an FPN. In Starmers case the Police reviewed the photographic evidence and considered AGAINST THE DIFFERENT MORE RELAXED LAWS IN FORCE AT THE TIME are taking no further action. They have reviewed the evidence since and are happy with their conclusion and will not re-investigate and waste time and money.

Speaking of which valuable MET Police time resources and money are being used up in the further investigation of the events at number 10. Its on hold until the elections are done tomorrow which to me is an indicator more FPN's will be handed out next week and our PM will become a serial offender.

If anyone cannot see the difference between the two cases then its their own political bias that is obscuring their ability to think straight - and they are being led by the ramblings of Harry Cole - political editor of the Sun - and why would he be doing that? Well one its a Murdoch paper and two he is the 3rd part of the menage a trois that is him Carrie his ex and Johnson - for a bit of fun see if you can spot the Wally in this photo

Looks like a poor night for Starmer, a few decent results but not a real breakthrough up against the worst government in my lifetime
