Keir Starmer

It's easy to criticise, but who would you have name-checked?

I probably would have mentioned the Mancunian band that’s in the middle of the biggest tour in the world and at the forefront of a 90s revival that’s dominating fashion, tv and youth culture at the moment.

On the one hand he can name drop whoever he wants there’s hundreds he could have chosen, but given this was written by a PR team it’s just tragic seeing how shit at politics this lot are.

14 million people tried to get tickets to Oasis, clearly a band that resonates with the public he governs.

Similar with the Lionesses/bank holiday thing. He chose to advocate for a bank holiday when leading the opposition and used it to criticise the Tories and then immediately shut down the idea when it was mentioned last week.

Or coming out against Israel starving Gaza a few months after all he could say over and over again was that Israel had the right to withhold aid.

They’re just so, so shit at politics and we’re going to end up with reform in some minority government because of it.

So Israel's decision to basically takeover Gaza, and we all know what that means, elicits the word 'wrong' from Starmer.

Shockingly inadequate
Serious question. What would you expect any European Nation to say or do as it it is well known Netanyahu doesn't give two shits to what we or the rest of Europe say?

The seriousness of what is going on in Gaza, and some have no other recourse to point fingers at the UK government.

Let’s get this right, Netanyahu and his government are the ones who’ve pushed this to where it is, and nobody other than the US have any say on how this goes.

Whether Tory, Labour, Lib Dem, SNP, Reform, or any other party, the UK is not responsible for where Israel has taken this conflict.

Then if Netanyahu doesn't give two shits surely our leaders could be more condemning of Israel's actions even if they do bugger all about it.
It sounds to me like Starmer is scared of offending Israel.

You're right, Asquith would've called it "beastly" or if he was really miffed "more frightfulness".

The Kaiser didn't give a shiza either.

International pressure did bring some relief in the form of aid. I do agree we only have our words here and we won’t intervene militarily.

Trump already has the world over a gun with his constant threat of tariffs , wouldn't surprise me if the reason for these tariffs were proposed in the first place was to prevent everyone considering action against Israel.

Starmer is just playing diplomacy for what it is, hence the euphemistic way of describing Israel's illegal land grab. He knows the likes of Netanyahu, Ben Gvir, Smotrich are all evil cunts, but he needs to be cautious with his words.

This has never been about the hostages. They became a convenience for Netanyahu, and he's using them to fulfill a dream Zionists have had since 1948.

Sanctions and tariffs have little effect against nations acting militaristically. See Russia. Even if nations wanted to impose sanctions against Israel, it wouldn't matter. Netanyahu has already crossed the Rubicon, and he won't stop until Gaza has been completely whitewashed. In doing this he's going against the judgement of his military command, which tells you all you need to know.

History will remember him for what he is, along with the other scumbags that enabled him.

I'm hearing they'll be a leadership election early next year.

Keith, like his hero Tony B.Liar has been offered a comfy 'ambassador' job in the EU.

He wants Mrs Balls to take over.

Fundraising tittle tattle that came from a respected party source.

Not the Mrs Balls part

Starmer has sacked his No.10 office head. Third one in his term, this one lasted 10 months. Is it the employer or the employees?

Shows strong leadership no doubt whilst it would have been a sign of internal turmoil under the last lot.
