It's easy to criticise, but who would you have name-checked?
I probably would have mentioned the Mancunian band that’s in the middle of the biggest tour in the world and at the forefront of a 90s revival that’s dominating fashion, tv and youth culture at the moment.
On the one hand he can name drop whoever he wants there’s hundreds he could have chosen, but given this was written by a PR team it’s just tragic seeing how shit at politics this lot are.
14 million people tried to get tickets to Oasis, clearly a band that resonates with the public he governs.
Similar with the Lionesses/bank holiday thing. He chose to advocate for a bank holiday when leading the opposition and used it to criticise the Tories and then immediately shut down the idea when it was mentioned last week.
Or coming out against Israel starving Gaza a few months after all he could say over and over again was that Israel had the right to withhold aid.
They’re just so, so shit at politics and we’re going to end up with reform in some minority government because of it.
