He'll hate this but he is super sub,his all round play is not good enough yet to lead the line but he will improve i'm sure

I completely disagree. Easy to be seen this way when he keeps getting used like this.

This has been only said since Leicester, and the problem that day was clearly not him.

He needs more starts to adjust for sure, but he is not just a 10 minute player.

I have thought it for a long time and pep clearly thinks similar to that and that's what matters

Kelechi Iheanacho has scored a goal every 96 minutes, the best minutes-per-goal ratio of any player in Premier League history (10+ games).

Stats lie nor tell the whole truth. Nacho often comes on as a sub with opposing defenders tiring. The stat will probably be very different when you take the games he started.

Don't wanna take away anything from the kid. He does know how to find the target, is eager to learn and willing to work his socks off. Let's hope he keeps developing his game and soon hold the same stat when he is a regular starter.

I'm not saying his all-round play doesn't need improvement but goals win games, we have a bunch of midfielders that don't score goals and we are shoe-horning as many of them in as possible at the expense of a striker. Without Aguero we are toothless and the one guy who knows where the back of net is can't get decent time on the pitch.

We've won the last three games without Aguero or without Nacho starting.

Glad that he scored a goal before Jesus arrives and that his being on the pitch changed the game. I think that it is right not to overplay him as youngsters can go off form easily - Rashford and Martial being the obvious examples

I think and Pep and MP before him have all managed Kelechi in the right way for me. He is only 20. To take part in over 50 games so far for the club in all competitions is good going he wont be a regular until he is totally ready and able to do that role. He has scored 20 goals already the talent is there for sure and he will be around at the club long term for me. What we got at the club is going to be here long term. I look at the arrival of Jesus we dont know how he will take to the league this season. Its going to be hard and he will need time to settle in the area and get used to playing English football. It might take him a year or so to get up to speed and while thats the case Iheanacho will be still about.

He may struggle to get more starts. Obviously there's Aguero, the resuragenve of YaYa and how that will effect keeping Silva & De Bruyne central. Something that's essential.

I'd like to see him get more consistent game time and game time with less pressure or when we're playing well.

Where I slightly disagree, I think he's an exceptional sub. He makes very challenging runs for tired defenders and doesn't seem to need many chances to score. His movement must be a nightmare for tiring defenders and excellent instinctive finishing make him an ideal sub unfortunately for him.

I just checked his stats. So far in the prem he has half his overall goal tally, but is on track to actually play a lot less football than last year.
