What if we found him an English wife sharpish?
I`m free on Mondays and have a cracking set of pins if you`re looking for somebody..

Be careful what you wish for. He may be expecting to exercise his conjugal rights.

That's correct I think, someone also posted that the Nigerian manager stated he'd be in the U21's (?) and wouldn't automatically get in the 1st team.Mancitybluemoon1 said:BlueAnorak said:He will join us on his 18th Birthday on October 3rd after playing a game or two for Nigeria..
Has he been named in the squad for the upcoming friendlies?...I also read he needed to play in 75% of Nigeria's games over the last 2 years for this to count?....don't know if that true...

From what little we've seen of him, we can see he is a player of outstanding potential. There have been good players from Nigeria over the years but it would be a huge boost to that nation if a talent such as his was to be fast-tracked to membership of their international squad, especially if it led to the opportunity to shine at a major club like City. The publicity he would gain would be the catalyst for thousands of kids in his country taking to the game, aiming to be the next African star, and Nigeria could only gain from this.ColinLee said:That's correct I think, someone also posted that the Nigerian manager stated he'd be in the U21's (?) and wouldn't automatically get in the 1st team.Mancitybluemoon1 said:BlueAnorak said:He will join us on his 18th Birthday on October 3rd after playing a game or two for Nigeria..

Why are people discounting the special dispensation rule for exceptional talent?Mancitybluemoon1 said:ColinLee said:That's correct I think, someone also posted that the Nigerian manager stated he'd be in the U21's (?) and wouldn't automatically get in the 1st team.Mancitybluemoon1 said:Has he been named in the squad for the upcoming friendlies?...I also read he needed to play in 75% of Nigeria's games over the last 2 years for this to count?....don't know if that true...

thanks for your reply mate.....If that all true, that pretty much confirms he isn't going to get a work permit granted for this season.....
