Leicester are hopeful of completing the £25million signing of Kelechi Iheanacho (20) from Manchester City this week. [Mirror]

Leicester have agreed a deal in principle to sign Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho. [Sky sources]

Iheanacho still has an image rights dispute to solve, while City and Leicester have yet to agree a buy-back option. [Sky Sports]

1st paragraph: Do you understand what a buyback clause is?

2nd paragraph: You are right. We shoud sack Pep, hire fat Sam and go 4-4-2.

Sam Allardyce's first City XI would be interesting...

Stones Kompany Otamendi Kolarov
Sterling Delph Fernandinho De Bruyne
-----------Bony Iheanacho

The Sun are claiming Spurs want Iheanacho as part of any Walker deal.

Bet he does! Levy knows nacho will be home grown after this summer, he bags 15+ goals the kid be worth around 50m with the way strikers go for and the stupid money being asked for average players.

Mentioned it on another thread but 10m for walker plus a 25% sell on clause for nacho and maybe a first refusal on the lad thrown in there.

Don't think he will ever be homegrown?

Think he will be classed as homegrown before the end of next season. He joined us in January 2014, but had a loan spell at Columbus Crew, and didn't get a work permit until early 2015:

A Home Grown player will be defined as one who, irrespective of his nationality or age, has been registered with any club affiliated to the Football Association or the Football Association of Wales for a period, continuous or not, of three entire seasons or 36 months prior to his 21st birthday (or the end of the season during which he turns 21).

Tottenham could hijack Leicester's move for Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho, 20, in order to speed up 27-year-old England defender Kyle Walker's move to Etihad Stadium.

From THE SUN

They're not going to agree to a buy back option, therefore under no circumstances do we allow him to go to Spurs. He'd be great for them and solve their issue of not having an adequate back up to kane. kelechi improves Spurs more than Walker would improve us.

But Walker would improve us drastically seeing as we don't have any RBs

i just think we should walk away from Levy. He will have us here - pay 20 for Nacho - we pay 50 for Walker - he sells Natcho for 40 to 50 next year - can see it.

Totally agree, we should look elsewhere, being priced out of a move will not sit well with Walker and nacho will give them more options up front where they're already strong. I do think we're making a mistake selling nacho, selling with a buy back clause seems the only option to me.

In light of the Alves news, I do fear we'll basically throw Kelechi at Spurs now in order to push through this Walker deal. God i hope not.

We shouldn't. As two posters above have said we should walk away and go for someone else.

Nacho will never be 50 mil. player. Well, maybe if prices go mad on completely different scale of current mad. He is just not that good player and if he goes to Spurs, I doubt he'd ever attract bigger club to price him away from them.

He had one period where he was scoring lot of goals per minutes he played but I can't recall any top game he had when he started the match and when he doesn't score he usually looks a pub player lacking some basic football skills.

The club are very right to sell him imo, no chance he'd get any playing time with quality we have up front, specially if Sanchez come. All other players are miles better than him.

Just heard on Talksport that Spurs won't pay over £70,000 a week wages, he's on £90,000 with us I believe.
