we couldn't sell messi for good money. saying that, I don't rate Nacho and if PL isn't full of cash, I'd thought 15m is solid deal.

Nacho is better than Rashford but he's not English, take 10-20m of Rashford's evaluation and that's the fee any other team than City would be asking for a player like him.

so, depending what you read it's £25m or £15m and he's as good as gone to Leicester.

In a way this is a bit sad cos we unearthed what appeared to be a goal machine and he was young, and he was ours. But, i'm going to be brutal, i don't think he was particularly good with ball at feet. He knew where the goal was and he sure knew how to be in the right place at the right time but that only gets you so far.

I hope he becomes a top player - but never against us. Cheers Kelechi.

Given the right setup which minimises his part in moving the ball around, he might be able to score close to 20. I hope we have a buyback once he gains confidence in being the big man in a team. A humble lad that seems to respect seniority in a team.

Think he tried too hard to impress and do what he saw others doing that maybe isn't suited to him when he got the limited chances he did. Nothing wrong with learning but hopefully at Leicester he'll realise he's better than what they have and plays his natural game more like he did for out youth teams. Would absolutely love to see him banging them in for 2 seasons then come back to us. Seems like a great lad too, appears to have his head screwed on and probably realises this is for his development more than anything so i doubt there's any bitterness and he'd be delighted to return.

In a World where Arnautovic is worth £25 million, Morata & Lukaku are worth £75 million, the Iheanacho is worth way north of £25 million.
Not so long ago he was considered one of the best young forwards in World football, has experience at the very highest level, he had 4 goals and 3 assists in 5 pl starts.
2 goals in 1 international start and 2 goals in 1 CL start.
8 goals in 7 league starts the season before.

So in his two seasons with us, he's pretty much at a goal a start. He's n exceptional prospect. We would be being asked £40 million for him.

I think we would be if it wasn't for that buy back clause.

Can only see him being sold when we have a replacement
Can't see us getting a replacement if we fail to get Alexis. I guess we'll go into the season with Aguero and Jesus as first choice and then have players like KDB, Sterling, Brahim and Nasri(?) that can play there as well.

I would have preferred to loan him out to a premier league club for 12 months. If he did well, fee would be higher than £25m. Unless it's a need to balance the books from a FFP perspective.

He might have been considered one of the best world young forwards after that world cup he played and when we got him but the fact that he is going to Leicester for that money says you all about how he is considered right now. There is absolutely monumentally inflated view of Nacho here, he's nowhere close being one of best world young forwards and nowhere close being a player any top club would look at. He scored few goals in short time at City but absolutely nothing else hints there is a huge football player in him. There's more Mangala/Lescot feel in him when he has the ball than any top striker. That's why he is going to Leicester.
