Kemi Badenoch - Elected Tory Leader

I doubt she sees the next GE.
That will be as far as she gets, she is just a caretaker very few parties only last one term in government (in the UK) the incumbent has the advantage, what tends to happen is majorities are whittled down, this government is in for at least two terms or maybe more, the problem for the Tories is they need to find someone who appeals to the British middle ground (which is totally different to the American middle ground) they seem to want to go far right to try and match Reform it won't work

I don’t see what would stop reform uk and the conservatives from forming a coalition government if Labour lose a majority. I wouldn’t count the right wing parties in the uk out even if they don’t find a “centrist” appealing leader.

That was quite clearly a car crash of a first attempt at PMQ's.

She was nervous and out of her depth. Straight talking headline making is easy when you're trying to work your way to the top but once you are there you have to have so much more. Your words have to be chosen very carefully, and intellectually she is no match for Starmer so it was a bizarre approach to try and take him on in a war of words.

Completely destroyed by her gaffe over defence spending - good luck to whoever drafted the text on that for her! She then accuses him of reading from a script, whilst reading from one herself before sitting down to much amusement from the Labour MPs and struggling not to spill her water all over herself with unsteady hand.

It was terrible for the reasons you say.
Spouting on about student politics while framing questions as if in student politics was odd, and framing questions as gotchas just doesn't work at PMQs unless facing someone having an offday.

A huge blunder on the defence spending which was embarrassing in your first session. The fact is she has had a quick rise on the back of being driven to say what she had to in order to get power. Now she has to have the gravitas to command the party and be leader of the opposition but she has no charisma and is clearly lacking the intellect to be able to go toe to toe with Starmer who will just demolish her.

It's an easy job for Labour, for now. Amy questions can be swatted away with the Tory track record. And Kemi's blunt position on matters can be thrown back in her face.

It will be a short lived leadership.

When are we expecting Boris' return, anything Trump can do...

Yeah, some of the questions were just dumb too.
