Kemi Badenoch - Elected Tory Leader

Anybody else looking forward to PMQ's when her response to an answer is that Starmer has taken her response out of context or just denial of the thing she said 1 minute ago was what she said?

Your bait needs work. It’s stagnated since you told us all that you’re just here to WUM.
I would say that the 15 pages of hate and bile on this thread, not to mention the utterly foul language used by a number of posters, is very real.

Highlighting this isn’t bait or Wumming. A lot of people on here simply don’t know how to behave.

You seem to have a much lower bar for what you perceive as hate and bile depending on what thread you are frequenting.

The hate and bile happens to concentrate on a few threads - this one, other Tory threads and needless to say the Monarchy one - so your argument is essentially redundant.

The Starmer thread also attracts a fair bit, although that all comes from the lefties, so again not something which concerns me.

Ah yes, all the threads you are invested in.

I wonder why you feel that way about those threads…

She will never have a premiership. Do you really think she will still be the Tory leader in another 5 years time? Of course she wont. She is too divisive, aggressive, dogmatic, and probably ruthless. Which suited her now, but no way will the Tories put up with that for too long
Indeed she's not even the one they wanted....Tory party that useless they couldn't even rig the MP vote.

She could be out before amoron at the swamp.

My wife is Nigerian and says you are spot on :)
Send her my regards, Nigeria is much maligned but the people are great.

I lived there on and off for about five years in the early 80s, and I've been back there a few times since.

They were the happiest days of my life....

And she'll make her premiership about pulling up the ladder after she's climbed up it even more.

I find her such a strange character, full of contradictions. Even her way of speaking is hybrid of affected RP, and Nigerian.
The Tory Party has lost its way, it looks to the American right for its ideas now, but the only folk they can get to spout this nonsense are the unhinged like Truss, grifters like Johnson, absentee landlords like Sunak or Badenoch a right wing cosmopolitan.

You should be happy, I thought multiculturalism was your thing? Well here you have it, just not in a combination to your liking.

Guess who's back
...
Priti Patel: Facebook encryption plan 'must not hamper child protection' - BBC News

She is just the caretaker there is n way they are getting back after one term of Labour, there is not much talent left in the Parliamentary party thanks to the cull of the moderates, under her they won't swing back to the centre ground and until they do they won't get back in power, Brexit has and will continue to eat it's children

Have to say - as much as Reform don't scare me, Farage does. Now he's an MP, I think he's got one eye on crossing the floor in a few years and trying his hand at the Tory leadership before his 70th birthday.

Despite his weathered appearance he's only 60. Hopefully he hasn't got another ten years.

Philp as shadow home secretary
Patel as shadow foreign (Kit Malthouse just suggested - jokingly - that getting sacked/forced to resign for running a freelance foreign policy with Israel showed 'enthusiasm for foreign affairs!)

Stride as shadow chancellor seems quite sane, certainly in comparison.

Is there nothing more British than black and brown people having mixed families with white people and then peddling cynical divide and rule racism?

I can think of many things considerably more British than that, in fact I don't recognise that as a uniquely British thing at all. Besides, isn't "cynical divide and rule racism" all about race as a social construct? A white social construct, devised by whites, with whites at the top? You know, the "white man's burden", the "moral" justification for all that divide and rule white on black exploitation.

Race as a social construct, devised by whites to keep the "black race" down, whatever the f**k that is, chimes perfectly with Dawn Butler sharing that Twitter post describing Kemi Badenoch as "the most prominent member of white supremacy's black collaborator class".

But haven't we just finished celebrating black history month? What were we celebrating? A white supremacist social construct?

Kemi Badenoch was born into a well heeled Nigerian family, Dawn Butler was born and raised here by Jamaican immigrant parents, but despite this they should obviously share the same world view, right? What with being black and all....

Of course they don't....

Whereas Dawn Butler is proud of the melanin....

Kemi Badenoch is "the most prominent member of white supremacy's black collaborator class"

And why?

Because a pervasive orthodoxy has gripped the left, now there is only one permissible view on race, one permissible view on gay rights, women's rights and child safeguarding, one permissible view on class, on British history and culture, patriotism and national identity, one permissible view on virtually everything.

Anyone who does not mouth the permissible view is motivated by hate and racism, probably both and as for Kemi Badenoch? She's doubly guilty as a traitor to her skin colour.
