When Kev went to shoot he slipped with his left foot and his knee overstreched a bit.

If it really is only a muscle injury I will be relieved. No surprise after his workrate in the last matches.

Looking at his face, Kev really was in shock just after the incident, fearing the worst about his knee, again.
Fingers crossed that all is good, Kev!

Another blow for Kevin. But he is an unbelievable fighter. 9 years ago he had glandular fever and he tried to come back the same season. It was not possible, he had to pick his moments. He needed a full preseason to come back at full strength. I think he is in the same situation now. He has to rest his knees for tree months and then start a full preseason. For me as a Belgian Kevin even has to refuse to play for the NT in June. Kevin onwards and upwards. Kevin soigneert u eh maat.

Hopefully not bad but seemed a heartbreaker at the time. He's the heartbeat of our team and our best player for me. We've got quality so can cope without him but he's just so good and influential when he plays he elevates us to the highest of levels, and he's just such a pleasure to watch. If this season is a gonner for him so be it but I just hope long term I can get to watch him fit and on form again because he plays the beautiful game better than I ever thought it could be played. He's highly rated but still underrated for me. Long live King kev

According to MOTD its a hamstring , so probably end of the season for him which is a massive blow , he has been back to his best in recent games.

He's our hero. Love the recent article by him. Inspirational. The club are trying to encourage players that have the right attitude, workrate and team ethic. Kev is top drawer and was magnificent on Wednesday. He has the shared passion of the fans.

Rest up, as long as your body needs, and come back stronger.
