We've won plenty of games with De Bruyne this season. We will do in the future. He's not so alien to the way that we play that we fall to bits with him in the team.

No, but is he beyond criticism? At the moment he’s upsetting the rhythm and balance of the side. Fernandes for them tossers loses the ball constantly and would not suit our style but has scored shitloads more than Kev.

KDB is a much better player than him but that doesn’t change the fact that lately he has been playing like him without the goal contributions.

i didn’t read the match day thread but personally I thought if we play Jesus I wouldn’t start him. Obviously it’s a strange one and when I seen the team I wasn’t thinking oh no no KDB is playing.:) He did start with that bull in a China shop style though that Bernado and Gundo don’t and it’s been working. First 25 today we couldn’t even keep the ball and Kev was a big part in that.

Aside from being against tried tosses it’s not a bad game to lose and it gives Pep time to solve those issues before bigger games like Everton in the cup.
