Absolute legend. There’s nobody like him in football now. The best midfielder to play in this league. Never seen a player that could pass with such precision and cut through defences in the way De Bruyne could an absolute legend.

Did feel as though it was time to part but an absolute legend and will be throughly missed.

I'll take your word for it. The delights of bowling, Sanatogen multi vitamins, Werther's Originals, daytime TV.
1. I can’t bend my knees and so bowling is out.
2. I take multiple pills for medical conditions so I can’t fit any multi vitamins in.
3. I’m far too fat to eat sweets.
4. I never watch tv except for sport. (This sounds snobby but I live in the kitchen and the tv is in the West Wing.)
You were close, though!

I thought we might get one more year from him. Sad to hear he is leaving, perhaps all his recent injuries helped make up his mind. As fans it is easy to forget that when players have been here for so long the club, and everything around it, becomes their home and clearly means something to them and their family.
Nice message from him, good luck to him and his family.
Reading Pep's words it sounds like it wasn't Kev's decision. 'it is an emotional moment and it wasn't easy for me to tell him it won't continue.'

Cheers for the memories Kev. You were an absolute wonderful player. Simply the best is an understatement.

All good things come to an end ...... we surely had to expect this, he's hardly the De Bruyne of a decade ago, when he arrived here, and he knows himself that he just can't give his best anymore .... Pep and the City heirachy know it too ..... I'd have been more surprised if either he, or the club, HADN'T of taken this course of action ..... he'll be 34 years old in 2 months time, and, let's face it, he can barely get through 90 minutes at this level anymore.

City aren't gonna go on paying big salaries like De Bruynes out if he's hardly playing games any more, and warming the bench, no major club is ..... that's the reality these days, football just doesn't stand still.

De Bruyne's been a terrific signing for City, no doubt about that, but we need quality youth in that midfield now, and we ought to be at least inquiring about the availability of the likes of that Florian Wirtz (below) , and one or two others .... if you don't bring real quality in then you land up with a midfield that looks jaded, and gets overrun most weeks, as ours has been a lot of times this season ..... we lost the quality of Rodri to a season long injury and his absence and importance to the team has stood out a country mile!

A gem of a player. He came, he saw, he won everything. Us Blues will tell our grandkids we were lucky enough to have seen him play.

Arguably our greatest player of all time - hes in the debate with Colin the King, David Silva and Rodri - its a great debate and theres no wrong answer.

Farewell Kevin, youve been a superstar.

He gave us so many special moments and is one of the greatest midfielders to have played in England in any era.

Thanks for the memories Kev

For me, Kevin De Bruyne is hands down the best midfielder the Premier League has ever seen. insane vision, ridiculous passing range, and he delivers goals and assists like clockwork. No one dictates a game like him, he makes everything look effortless but is constantly making things happen. Whether it’s a 40-yard through ball, a first-time cross on a plate, or a rocket from outside the box. he’s got it all. And it’s not just flair, he’s been doing it consistently in a title-winning team, season after season. Others were great in their own ways, but none of them had the same level of creativity, influence, and output rolled into one. KDB’s just built different.

King Kev where do you want your statue!?
