I don't think it's arguable. He is the greatest midfielder in PL history. People will mention Scholes or Gerrard but they had their strengths and weaknesses. De Bruyne was better than the best they could produce. Want a pass on a six pence like Scholes, De Bruyne does it but onto someone's run so they can score. Want someone with the drive to lead the team or pick up the ball and make something happen, De Bruyne over Gerrard any day of the week.

The rag and dipper PR machine will promote those two ahead of him but it's bollocks. De Bruyne is the greatest.

To think he was a £55m flop when we bought him...not too shabby that deal now!
Yeah, we've had some legends like KDB, David and Sergio and the greatest manager of our generation. It's still a mystery they've committed crucial parts of their career to an insignificant small club, according to our media scribblers.!

Brilliant.
Thank you for sharing that
But when you said we will never see the like of keV again.
It made me think in the last 10 years we have seen Vinny..David Silva.
Kev.
Yaya..
And haaland..these players are genuinely world class.
Once in a life time players.
We have seen them in 10 years .
Aswell as others
We can argue who is better keV or Silva.
But it's a nice argument to have.. personally I think Silva is the best we have had.
Very very closely followed by keV
But that only what I think.
Forget trophies to see players like those two play for little old city has been absolutely amazing
No Aguero??

Kevin is the greatest attacking midfielder in PL history.

Rodri is the only PL midfielder who would start for any of the greatest club teams of all time, Cruyff's Ajax, Pep's Barcelona (more complete than Busquets), etc.

Rodri is underrated in England, mostly because his game is a bit too subtle for the stupid pundits in the media.

The club and Pep should learn the lessons Kevin is giving them here.

All good things come to an end
Nothing lasts forever
It's ok to let things go.
Don't over stay your welcome or usefulness.

I'm not saying that Pep should leave, just that this era of our club is clearly coming to an end and we need to not be UTD and prepare for the next chapter in good time and without hanging into the past.

Pep has admitted he's done exactly this this season. Let's not repeat the same mistake twice.

Out with the old. In with the new.

For some reason this never makes his passing videos, but this must be the most perfect header ever headed

A very upsetting but not surprising message by The King II. To watch him struggle for form and fitness this season as been heartbreaking to see. The greatest player I have ever seen in a sky blue shirt deserves to go wherever he wants for as much money as he can get, because he deserves it! Thanks Kev, you were truly magnificent! P.S That Gobshite Mourinho knows a player when he sees one :)
And lets not forget the stark warning from Merson 'n Thompson that we didn't heed!

Not sure if anyone’s said this before but I’d have been happier if the club & Kev had agreed to state publicly that it was a mutual decision.
However, I acknowledge that the club need to look professional & make it clear that they are rebuilding & want the best. It wouldn’t be long before the media would have been turning this into “KDB leaving - before the ship sinks” City have made it pretty clear that they’re going nowhere - the gossip is all bu115hit
