He's given us 10 years and he may have another 4 years left in the tank and if I was his agent I would recommend KSA now and then USA for his final 24 months..

I don't think it's arguable. He is the greatest midfielder in PL history. People will mention Scholes or Gerrard but they had their strengths and weaknesses. De Bruyne was better than the best they could produce. Want a pass on a six pence like Scholes, De Bruyne does it but onto someone's run so they can score. Want someone with the drive to lead the team or pick up the ball and make something happen, De Bruyne over Gerrard any day of the week.

The rag and dipper PR machine will promote those two ahead of him but it's bollocks. De Bruyne is the greatest.

To think he was a £55m flop when we bought him...not too shabby that deal now!

Indeed

None of them are on his level. They were very good players, I wouldn't let loyalty dismiss that. I'd certainly be happy with players of that ability in the city squad.

Kev was elite though, the best of the best.

There's a clear difference.

That is so very kind of you. I love this club because there are people like you who support them. It has been a tearful day and you have just made it more so.

Yes I like to think we are a special club and fans too. I'm often away over December/January so give me a shout if you need a free ticket or two then.

All good things must come to an end, I guess.

I'll never forget being in the stands when we beat Stoke 7-2. He was operating in another dimension to us mere mortals. I love Dave, Vinnie and Sergio equally for the good times they gave us, but I've never seen a player who has it all and has won it all like Kevin De Bruyne. I'll forever think of him as the beating heart of the greatest time in English football league history.
I took my five year old nice her first game for the Stoke game.
She was so frighted by the noise of the first goal but she settled down and joined in after the third she has kevs name on every shirt since.
She is so upset by this I have told her she can still have his name on her shirts and no one will mind because he is a legend

I'll take your word for it. The delights of bowling, Sanatogen multi vitamins, Werther's Originals, daytime TV.
At my crown green bowling club mate, most members are top golfers; all still work; most in their 40/50s & some still at school

So you’ve no chance :-) :-)

Watching the amazing videos on here of all Kevin's passes, assists and goals, I still have to pinch myself that he chose our club and made it his own. I constantly would shout and whoop like a kid at his audacity, his blistering runs, his proper thunderbastards and yet just as much as all of that I remember him making interceptions in our goal area on 90 minutes.

This is the end but the moment has been prepared for. I can't help thinking we haven't seen the last of young Kevin, he is exceptionally intelligent and I can see him as a coach, and probably an angry red faced one!

Greatest Belgian ever, alongside Vincent and err ..... Tintin. ;-)

All the pain we went through and all the mediocre players ( Too many to mention) we had to endure has made us appreciate watching true genius like Kevin play all the more. What a magnificent ten years full of iconic memories, goals, assists and trophies. I'm going to miss him.

He’s still good enough to play in Serie A and Bundesliga, not those shit leagues.

He should sign for someone like Lazio or Mönchengladbach
