He’s got more class than that.
After the shit they’ve pulled over the years, let’s not forget he was in the bus which got bricked by the scum.
I think and hope it’s just 2 bit journalists trying to make a story out of nothing.

I doubt he would go, plus if he did it would probably severely damage his legacy at City.
Klopp never missed an opportunity to chat with Kevin every time we played the

He definitely fell for the 'boyhood liverpool fan ' thing

Now if klopp was to pop up at real then Kevin could be tempted to madrid

If he did sign for that lot i think it would be the end of the statue talk and be more of a ya ya training pitch thing lol

Let's be real if he signs for Liverpool and turns out for them at the Etihad his every touch is getting booed and whistled. He sets his legacy on fire if he does that. Don't think he will, I could see Bayern though.

Ferran Soriano is a damn idiot. It's all I've been thinking about all day. After Agüero, now De Bruyne—he's truly the worst kind of cold-blooded bastard.
Is that the Aguero who lasted two months at Barcelona before he had to retire? Granted that was horrible and very unfortunate, but difficult to say that wasn't the best decision by the club

Yeah, the papers when they want a free story at city’s expense periodically bring up that Kev was a Liverpool fan as a kid (we all did stupid things as kids).

Would be intriguing to see the reception he would get at the Etihad if he were to make that move though. Personally, if he made that move he’d be dead to me.

He wasn't.

It was bollocks. You think anybody who can leave on a free transfer is also going to accept almost a £250k a week wage cut, just because he loves the club?

It's not about money for City, it's about his inability to perform on a weekly basis due to his physical decline.

He was absolutely abysmal prior to the Palace game. He said he had been pain free for six weeks, which begs the question, why was he so bad for the other five weeks, including his last derby?

Lots of revisionism going on. People have blasted Pep for being too loyal to much of the old guard, to the detriment of our season. Here he is, making some very difficult decisions, and yet he and City are acting improperly?

Kev is always going to have eye catching moments, even playing in testimonials when he's into his fifties, you never lose that.

People moaned when we let Gundo leave for Barca, but it was clearly the right decision, based on what we have seen for over the last 12 months.

Kev has had his time, and what a time it has been, but life waits for nobody. It is an insult to City and also to Kev if we are paying him £200k a week out of sentiment just to play an hour a week, at the detriment to progressing again.

United made this mistake, holding on to Keane, Scholes and Giggs for years too long.
Like it or not Kev is an issue. He was garbage against United
Sergio left and we wanted him to stay
David silva the same
Now is the time for us to start again

I’d argue United biggest issue was vidic, Vera and Rio Ferdinand not being replaced and the defence falling apart
Loved every minute of it!

Liver every minute of it!
No doubt will be the same with Haaland in 10 years' time :-)

"Was he really that good?" "Could have we been better if he had moved to RM?"

I think Kev already knows where's going, the post on Twitter said everything.

Until he slams one into the top corner, own goal Trojan horse style

If that is the case, he’s delusional. If he’s going to try what Ronaldo did before rejoining United, we might as well send him to Liverpool.

WHO wouldn’t wanna take another year of 400k/week. Can’t blame him but yeah he‘s been injured and the club has to make a cut. Same with Bernardo , Grealish, Ake, Stones, Walker
And Gundogan.

Seemed to recall Gordon Strachan saying in an interview, how, as he got older, he still had the technical skills and an even better understanding of the game, but his physical fitness declined, making it harder to show those skills consistently on the pitch.

De Bruyne's footballing brain is still sharp but he doesn't have the speed to get away from players and the legs to be as influential. Maybe a positional change might be more suited to him.
