give him a deep lying role we could easily get another 2/3 out of him.

Rodri runs the most in this team.
KdB is completely unsuited to a deep lying role due to being poor defensively and taking risks in his passing.

Why? His point is a pretty valid take imo. There's been some weird posts on here over the years, but this has to be up there with the weirdest.

Didn’t Gundogan say yesterday he could play another 3-4 years?
Aside from Marmoush, not really. I think we've not invested correctly for a window or two, thinking we'd be fine and how do you better treble winners, then four in a row, but the core beneath it isn't that rotten at all. It seemed dire in January, but to get where we are now we must have something still there, the fire and the ability. I do hope that means that we're not going to do anything too extreme that we may regret, like shying away from a one year extension for Kev. Or maybe I'm just struggling to let go of possibly our greatest ever player...I think we have had incredibly bad luck with injuries in the last couple of years, and maybe longer. We have had fuck all off referees and VAR for sure. I do however disagree re: January. We were creaking, working with 15 players or less. We had three games a week every week and were rapidly losing all confidence. January signings had to be made. That said hardly any of them have had a run in the side?

Bollocks, he did when he was rejected by the family who housed him for his first year away from home. Hes a good dad."huge upheaval for his children" he's a footballer earning £350k a week. This isn't John from down the road. His kids won't notice a thing ffs
I reckon I could shag Margot Robbie. If I wanted to.Didn’t Gundogan say yesterday he could play another 3-4 years?
I get your point, but he has openly been inviting offers from Saudi the last two years. I doubt not moving is that high on his priority list.Bollocks, he did when he was rejected by the family who housed him for his first year away from home. Hes a good dad.
Yes absolutely. Using domestic violence to compare to was weird. If you can't see that it says more about you mateWhy? His point is a pretty valid take imo.
Who has said he's not?!Bollocks, he did when he was rejected by the family who housed him for his first year away from home. Hes a good dad.
I'm good thanks smartarse. Nowt wrong with listening to yourself fella. Should try it. Just making a pointWeird to ask a question and then answer it yourself. Do you regularly have voices that talk to you in your head Matt? Seek help mate
I really think he would, or maybe rather I should rephrase it as squad player. He knows he can't play three times a week all season, not just for fitness but also to ensure when he does play he can produce, and his family is massively important to him and staying in Manchester for another year allows his kids to maintain their friendships and gives time to think about their next move. Getting that option of a balance between playing and playing in a competitive team, who challenge for trophies, is not common, and it's arguably ideal for a guy who's going to be 34 soon. Not a chance in hell that is true.
He has literally been saying the opposite though. He wants a big part, he wants to play, he thinks he can still perform at that level and he doesn't feel ready to consider winding down.I really think he would, or maybe rather I should rephrase it as squad player. If he goes to America or the middle east, that's the end of truly competitive, prestigious football for him. It's also a huge change of lifestyle for not just him but potentially the whole family, maybe also his international career winds down, and he may just not want that. Maybe he's be ok with that on reflection, but by staying at city he has a chance of both game time and competitiveness.
Unfortunately I do expect I'm being overly hopeful and the decision is done, so have to just be ok with it. I do still think he has something to offer a title chasing premier league team, and I hoped for a better end to his city career given his importance to us, but it's not the end of the world.
This just confirms my appreciation of the decision by the club to not renew. He has literally been saying the opposite though. He wants a big part, he wants to play, he thinks he can still perform at that level and he doesn't feel ready to consider winding down.
This imagined back of the changing room janitorial role on halved wages is pure fantasy mate. And quite franky, an insulting suggestion for such a great player.
Really ? It fucking would for me .There is no way Kev taints his legacy at city by signing for Liverpool.

Hope you’re correct. Feral fans , bricking coaches , hacking the clubs data , spewing endless shite in the media . Pricks like Aldridge and spitty constantly sniping with the blessing of the club .What I mean is he won’t sign for them because doing so would taint his legacy.
