Absolutely mental when our own fans think this. There wasn't a queue of teams when he was at Wolfsburg and we actually got the piss taken out of us for spending "so much" on him. We took that risk.
We've given him the opportunity to come and work for the best club the in world over the last 8 years or so. He's been treated well and looked after by the club (look at Gundo's experience in Barca and the way they treated him). He's come here and won everything there is to win. There's not many other teams he could have gone to and had the same experience as with City. When you hear former players talk about the club and how well they're looked after, and you see it on the behind the scenes videos - to say "he owes us fuck all" is stupid.
This isnt anything new. Sergio was treated in the exact same way - he wanted to stay but we knew the time was right for him to leave. He didn't consider even moving to another Premier League club - imagine if he'd ended up going to United. He went abroad and he got a statue built.

Everyone’s entitled to their opinion, but for me, it'd be really hard to swallow, and my view of him would be tainted, regardless of whether he’s a Liverpool fan or not.
He’s been an integral part of our success over an extended period—our talisman and our captain. He’s an intelligent guy, and fingers crossed, he’ll realise that while some may wish him well, making that move would alienate a lot of City fans.
Put the shoe on the other foot—when Gerrard left, if he’d turned down LA Galaxy and joined City, their fans would have been up in arms.

Aguero got a dream move back to Spain to one of the biggest clubs in the world. KDB owes us nothing and we don’t owe him much. I think it’s the right time for him to go but as soon as he’s on the decline (rightly so) we’ve got rid. So we’ve not shown him loyalty either.
If he gets the chance to go to one of the best clubs in England not uproot his family and thinks he can still play in the Premier League why shouldn’t he? There’s no loyalty in football and it works both ways.
