Kevin Spacey

There's a lot of folk who had him hung, drawn and quartered. The "no smoke without fire" mob. See the Ched Evans saga.
We as city fans should know better.
’No smoke without fire’ and ‘well, they’re wealthy and can afford the best lawyers to get away with it’ sound very like the kind of crap we hear from rags and dippers and other riff-raff about our dealings with uefa and the PL.

When Spacey did that fucked up Frank Underwood style monologue when he was first charged showed me as well as being a great actor he's fucked up also.
You really think a Hollywood star might not be quite right in the head and have no sense of self-awareness?

Regarding Spacey. While he was working at the Young Vic, he was living in the Cotswolds in a *luxury development by some lakes (*Phil Foden spent some time there recovering from an injury). Spacey used to frequent a local pub that I know very well. He was a determined sexual predator who tried it on several young lads who he’d invited back to his luxury accommodation for a few drinks. It was widely known and discussed locally and I totally believe it to be true. I’ve not followed his trial nor am I familiar with the detail of his charges. I’ve no idea therefore why the charges failed but I do know how he behaved. Elton fucking John and any number of “slebs” can give all the character references in the world but the man was an absolute sex pest and would have behaved as such because that’s what he was…and is.

Glad, very glad. We've been getting closer and closer to the realms of policing sexuality to an incomprehensible level. It's a new fashionable puritanism. Virtue signalling mixed with the thrill of the hunt.

Meanwhile, countless young lads in the real world are fucked by the brainwashers and think misogyny and macho image is what matters. Because they are fed images and ideas and words that make the world look very dangerous and all about confrontation and intimidation. Witch hunting is about as scary as society gets. Any old **** can join in and avoid the truth about them and others, and feel safe by turning the threat on others.

Lads, please be real. Don't seek this kind of gratification, judgement from afar, celebrity scandal. It will never reveal one single true thing about you or anyone else.

And one day, knowing the truth - or how to find it - may affect far more than what remains of your own life.

That's "being a man" - knowing how to make wise decisions on your own behalf and that of others. How to help them become strong. Because strong people are less frightened, less unpredictable, and less vulnerable to exploitation by people who will want to harm anyone around their victim who doesn't fall for their shit.

Stop accomodating people. Say, no. Everyone must learn how to say 'no' very loudly. How to cause a fuss and a scene very early, to avoid going along with something worse. Boys. Girls. Protect your fucking neck.

Did he entice them with his butterfly collection perhaps?

I’ve absolutely no idea mate. Some were just young lads who liked a beer - to him I guess they were a bit of rough trade. There’s quite a few celebrities who hang around locally - Kate Moss for example is very well liked and respected, local gays etc get no problems at all and are fully accepted but Kevin Spacey had an awful reputation - as I say I don’t know the details of his case but it wouldn’t surprise me if he’d crossed a line based on local chit chat. That doesn’t mean he’s guilty of a particular crime but he was held in low esteem let’s put it that way.
