Regarding Spacey. While he was working at the Young Vic, he was living in the Cotswolds in a *luxury development by some lakes (*Phil Foden spent some time there recovering from an injury). Spacey used to frequent a local pub that I know very well. He was a determined sexual predator who tried it on several young lads who he’d invited back to his luxury accommodation for a few drinks. It was widely known and discussed locally and I totally believe it to be true. I’ve not followed his trial nor am I familiar with the detail of his charges. I’ve no idea therefore why the charges failed but I do know how he behaved. Elton fucking John and any number of “slebs” can give all the character references in the world but the man was an absolute sex pest and would have behaved as such because that’s what he was…and is.

I’ve absolutely no idea mate. Some were just young lads who liked a beer - to him I guess they were a bit of rough trade. There’s quite a few celebrities who hang around locally - Kate Moss for example is very well liked and respected, local gays etc get no problems at all and are fully accepted but Kevin Spacey had an awful reputation - as I say I don’t know the details of his case but it wouldn’t surprise if he’d crossed based on local chit chat.

You’re being very unsympathetic towards young working class lads. Spacey is a very successful, intelligent, highly educated and sophisticated older man with money, fame and power. It’s just exploitation no different than Prince Andrew and that young girl in my view. Not necessarily criminal but reprehensible non the less.

I don’t know whether he was rapist or not - the law says he isn’t but it wasn’t just chatting someone up in a pub. See my comment below on Prince Andrew. Again I’m amazed how many people on here run to defend a fully paid-up member of the “elite” who’s preying on young unsophisticated working class kids.
