Blimey mate that would be the 99% of the chicken industry and not KFC. Theres a lot of things on here BB which are bullshit so I have no expectations and tend not to read every word. However I can only comment on a radio programme I listened to some years back which did cover clipping the chicks beaks and force feeding them with crap that made them grow faster that the the chicks feet could not take the weight. Considering this and the current taste it wouldnt surprise me if what the OP has said has some truth!
as others have pointed out the taste over the years have deteriated

These stories always make me laugh. When im buying cheap fried fast food im not really expecting corn fed live in a house bummed by the owner chicken with hand reared kissed daily potatoes. I expect its crap because its cheap

Oh aye it was clean don't get me wrong. We didn't have cameras in the kitchens tho (this was about 10 years ago tbf) the only time any ones food got 'special' treatment was if they were being a proper thundercunt.
