Proves my point that for the past 12 weeks that we were still paying Tevez.

I took loads of shit from people who hadn't got a clue... and I was right.

The 6 weks fine means Tevez is still 6 weeks pay up on the deal.

This sanction is far les about being a disciplinary matter and far, far more about the club taking a shot across the bows of the Tevez advisers.

They're stating unequivocally that he sorts out a deal for himself before the transfer deadline, otherwise he will have to return to City and face the consequences.

If anyone has read what I've been saying, I've been urging the club to take Tevez on, as otherwise he's going to walk away for peanuts.
I would have sacked him long time past.
Hopefully we will hold our nerve.

But I said 12 weeks ago that we would get next to nowt for Tevez, and I stil stand by that. Wait until January 31st,. to see if we manage to make any money on a Tevez deal. I very much doubt it.

TBH what i read of you was "We're getting next to nowt for Tevez. He'll choose where he goes and at what price. People have to stop fantasising that we're in charge of this.".

I think it's shown here your recent comments are not accurate at all.

Eh?

What figure do you think we're going to get for Tevez then?

The main gist of your opinion is that Tevez and the Snake are in charge of what is going to happen.. I think not.

Is this good news? May mean he stays until the Summer

So be it but he won't be paid unless he reports back. The most important thing is the club takes a stand, we will be far more respected around Europe if we win a battle of wills with a greedy player and AC Milan.

Also by the time summer comes around he'll still have 2 years left on his contract so I doubt his value will be affected.

That's given everyone a lift now hasn't it?!

Yes i have a spring in my step now. I read this and went happily to the wine rack and opened a 2004 Chateauneuf-du-Pape.

I know that sounds a bit overkill but i have been desperate to know that we have not been mugs and we will not be fucked aroung in the future either.
