As Bobby said months ago, he is being badly advised.

that Tevez hasn't been paid since he left for Argentina, which he has agreed to, AND he has been fined 6 weeks wages on top of that, which he is disputing.
I don't think it means the fine is to claw back wages already paid.
He hasn't been receiving any wages.

"They [the papers] are running a story based on a briefing given by Manchester City, that Carlos has lost £9.3milion in lost wages and bonuses which is a lot money," Kia Joorabchian's advisor Paul McCarthy told Sky Sports News.
"When Carlos went back to Argentina in November, he and the club came to agreement that he waived his wages - because he was not at Manchester, Carrington, so he waived his wages.
"And the situation is now that - quite frankly from Carlos' point of view - it is never about the money, it is not an economic situation with Carlos; if it had been he would have sat down with City about extending his contract which was on the table at one stage, but that is obviously not the case now and we wait and see what happens over the transfer window."

Tevez has played this horribly wrong.
Khaldoon Al Mubarak is a genius.

And with AC Milan skint and the player turning down PSG, that pretty much leaves Tevez nowhere to go. Whilst that may be a satisfying state of affairs given his behaviour, personally I'd rather have had him gone and I hope that turning down Inter's initial £21m bid doesn't come back to bite us in the arse. Courts and judges are unpredictable beasts and even were we to win, I wouldn't put it past Joorabchian to stir up a shit storm. Redknapp's in Court this week regarding the receipt of "bonuses" and I only hope that in our desperation to get Tevez to sign on the dotted line originally we didn't make any similarly "inventive" payments, cos the City hating press would love nothing better than for us to be deducted points or given a transfer embargo
This is the only criticism I could level at the club. We took PSG too seriously as a runner as there was never a cat in hells chance of him going there. The attempt to turn it into a bidding war failed. We would now hold all the aces had we accepted the bid. We still have the twat by the bollox but we have left him a little wriggle room. Still say well done Khaldoon. It´s now a matter of principle and our owners have behaved impeccably with honour and integrity (certainly in comparison with other club´s). They take exception to deceit - and so they should

Remember in the summer when he jetted in to cut through the delays and bullshit to close the Aguero deal?
He is the man who can.
Kia the pimp is a mere toenail scraping in comparison
That's a really interesting take on things and it certainly makes you wonder.Exeter Blue I am here said:strongbowholic said:Don't agree; City accept PSG offer, Tevez fails to agree terms. I think we have played it perfectly too......but only if there are no skeletons in our closet with regard his initial signing and modes of payment. I recall an article David Conn wrote in the Grauniad last year probing into Joorabchian's list of unsavoury creditors and associates and it didn't make for pretty reading. The man does not appear to be a model of fiscal probity and I only hope that City have kept all our dealings with the slippery little bastard squeaky clean, cos if we haven't Joorabchian would be a knocking bet to leak strategic details to the press, who, along with Platini, would then have a field day at our expense. I didn't like McCarthy's sanguine attitude on SSN this morning at all. I'm a suspicious old cnut at the best of times and I'd be more comfortable if the Tevez camp was foaming with indignant outrage. Still say for peace of mind we should have accepted Inter's offer
