However, there is still no way we know how the cards will fall.
Tevez has already proved himself ignorant and obstinate. The fact he has challenged the six week fine tells you that he is still refusing to lie down.
And as the PFA displayed, we can fine as much as we want, but the Premier League could also decide the sums are excessive.
This has always been a game of bluff, the problem is, Milan don't have any money.
So unless Tevez or Milan make a dramatic U-turn, I fear he will be happy to sit in Argentina and take his chances in court at a later date.
City were clearly still paying him up until the appeal before the board on Dec 21st, this does appear retrospective to take into account the six weeks up to the window.
They do still have Corinthians on speed dial ;-)
Don't - that's a deal that would have to include a lot of strings weighted in our favour.
Feel a little sorry for Soulboy on here he's copped stick for saying he was still being paid. He was and I have said as much myself, this was being briefed both sides.
The articles are saying towards the end of November, well after the Bayern incident.
So the six week fine seems to have been rubber-stamped after the board of appeal - the two weeks in December up to 30th Jan before Prem League appeal deadline.
Would have loved to have seen Tevez's and Kia faces when he went to the cash machine doing his Crimbo shopping.
