Khaldoon's End of Season Interview

City's response to UEFA referring our case upwards put everybody on notice that we were going to come out swinging. And now the fun begins. This interview is just first round jabs feeling out the opposition. But they landed on the nose. Some bloody mayhem will follow. Can't wait..
Wonder if Khaldoon knows just how much support he has amongst the fans?
Go to it, lad, and give them hell.

All of a sudden there is a lot of Middle East interest in purchasing clubs....Leeds...Newcastle....FFP is about to die a death. And I think people know.
Buy.invest what you like.....the brakes are off........How will the media darling Newcastle be portrayed when they have loads of dosh? Demonised? Stigmatised. Called financially doped. Any achievements ignored or downgraded? I wonder......
I love them already.

You should really be rolling every hour, if not more often.

Surely it should be written into Due Diligence during a take over! Wonder why it isn't? Would love to see the text![/QUOTE]

Im happy for the Geordies if this works out for them...proper football fans who live and breathe the game. Yes they only have the one team in the city but they have stuck by that team through all the shit and especially with Mike Ashley at the helm who none of them seem to like.

It also creates more competition for the old established elite (though it may take some time) - the old sky fours destroyed by us...now the top 6 is under threat as well...the likes of Utd, arsenal are going to find it even tougher to compete

Funnily enough, the impression I got is that any decisions will be based on facts. This suggests the courts of law if necessary to me.

I think that’s where it will end up, and have always said so. The G14 are the tail that wags the UEFA dog, and we should expect nothing from the latter as a consequence. CAS is harder to call

That was an interview of a different order - as foreshadowed by Tolmie - and follows a new tone in the club's statements regarding UEFA.

UEFA may try it on and try to ban us using some spurious reasons if the facts don't suit their plan but KAM has just told the world that is not going to wash.

KAM is a very powerful man and fries much bigger fish than City; and now it looks like he means to batter some of our opponents off the field. He's overseen the transformation of MCFC into the best run football club in the world and he is not about to let some jumped up officials spoil the party.

I got that impression too
