Khaldoon's End of Season Interview

We’re in very good hands. Love that combination being personable and a steely determination. Totally upfront about the allegations being made and made sure he emphasised the need to stick to the facts.

Surely it should be written into Due Diligence during a take over! Wonder why it isn't? Would love to see the text!

Im happy for the Geordies if this works out for them...proper football fans who live and breathe the game. Yes they only have the one team in the city but they have stuck by that team through all the shit and especially with Mike Ashley at the helm who none of them seem to like.

It also creates more competition for the old established elite (though it may take some time) - the old sky fours destroyed by us...now the top 6 is under threat as well...the likes of Utd, arsenal are going to find it even tougher to compete[/QUOTE]

Newcastle are the great underachievers, a crown they robbed from MCFC, so I wouldn't begrudge them some silverware.

Ultimately, the more competition the better; especially if we remain the best team. As a City supporter, I want a period of real dominance with our team being generally accepted as the greatest English club side ever. I do want us to keep winning trophies regularly thereafter but, as a football fan, I also want a league where it's not always the same old teams expanding their trophy cabinets.

Oh my word!
Have just watched the 1st interview.
It's safe To say Khaldoon has just drawn a line in the Abu Dhabi sand.
UEFA, Tebas, United and Gill, FSG and Liverpool, the UEFA cartel clubs, the PL cartel clubs, take note.
Don’t f*** with City!

Nice sentiments, but UEFA have so much pressure on them from the cartel, that they can't step back.

The police might want a conviction but the CPS will say no if there isn’t sufficient likelihood of a conviction. UEFA can punish us but if CAS overturn the matter City may not stop there - they might go to the Swiss Courts and destroy UEFA. I’m not sure UEFA are aware of what they are dealing with and the downsides of them losing.

totally agree. i have no great love for newcastle, but i certainly like the sound of another team breaking up the top cartel teams.

its also saying a lot about city fans who are happy to welcome other teams to the top, even if it makes our job of winning stuff harder. we don't have that self-entitled attitude so prevalent with other teams, and i hope we never get it.

Things have certainly changed The late lamented Chairman Peter Swales end of season showdown was usually with Saint@ Greavsie

I recall a few AGM’s where we tried to vote him out unsuccessfully! (I think I had 100 shares - a few less that Swales and Boler) The non stop abuse Swales had to withstand - god knows what motivated him to hang in there. And Swales lies over the North Stand Scoreboard - saying it couldn’t be fixed because the manufacturer had gone out of business - only to be exposed a year later by ‘scoreboard man’ who found the said manufacturer still trading and called the hapless Swales a lier ! Fun days but nothing like today.
