Khaldoon's End of Season Interview

Great interview again. He speaks so well of all aspects of the club and group. World Domination is going as planned.

Cant take him seriously though when he says "POOMA" - I liked they way he said they offered the best commercial deal but that kit with the purple is terrible haha

Going to court in all instances is against UEFA rules?
Yes. Suing UEFA is against their rules. Of course, they have no legal power to stop us doing that, but they can sanction us in football terms for breaking their " no litigation rule". FIFA have a similar rule. Despite its name, CAS is not a court, but an arbitration service.

Agree with your line, but what part of my post is not true?

UEFA cannot prevent City taking legal action - that in itself is a restrictive practice. You simply cannot restrain an individual’s or an organisation’s rights. You can write the rule - as they have but you can’t enforce it.

Such rules themselves are likely illegal (they just have not yet been fully challenged), meaning we could also take them to court for any suspension.
Yes, possibly. Gets very messy if you challenge this type of rule. They would maintain that all teams agreed to a contractual obligation when signing up to their competitions.

Agreed, but I never said otherwise ! See my post below.

Yes he is a real advocate of it, so he mentioned it once in 11 years.

Perhaps because safe standing has only become a real possibility over the last year or so. Previously it was dead in the water. After 10 years of hard and on-going work by the FSF http://www.fsf.org.uk/campaigns/standing/ and fan groups from all over the country, safe standing is now a real possibility.

Apart from that, why are you picking fault or issue with what he has just said regarding safe standing and the stadium expansion? You should be pleased like all of us. No?

As you probably know, we’ve always been frustrated on here, well I have, that the stadium expansion has never been mentioned during his interviews. He was asked directly this time. Didn’t fudge the question. And answered it in detail, without giving too much away, which is his way.

That fact that Khaldoon has confirmed the stadium expansion ‘is happening’, that is enough for me. The alternative would have been him saying it wasn’t happening at all, or not for the foreseeable future.

PS. Over to the Etihad expansion thread. It’s off topic on here.

Part 1 > Part 2 :)

I liked the recognition he gave to Diaz & Sancho, and hopefully Foden will meet the very high expectations.

There is no inference about it, Liverpool as a city was built from slave trade profits, and the club on pools money.
I'm never sure about this. Everton certainly when known as the Merseyside Millionaires had loads of Moores money, but I have never found a reference to Liverpool getting funded that way. An Evertonian mate says that Liverpool got Moores money when Littlewoods employees got shirty about Everton getting it.
Anybody got a reference to Liverpool funding ?
