He used to sit next to me when he worked at Gigg Lane for the Bury Times and I was covering a game.

Pete Spencer was his mate and got him the MEN job when he became sports ed.

2 hours ahead, but yes up early. Never been to a hotel where it’s as mad as this to reserve a sunbed

There’s no way he’s going to say anything about the charges, he could even be in contempt of court if he does.

I always find these interviews a bit pointless. Nothing revelatory is ever said. Last year one of his lines was, ‘We are looking to strengthen the team in the areas that need strengthening’.

I thought, ‘fuck me, this is ground breaking!’ Haha
