Khaldoon's End of Season Review 2025

FFS, so we're turning on Khaldoon now too? WTAF do you want him to say? A list of each of our targets and departures, the final outcome of the charges plus his private feelings on all matters? He isn't obliged to even do an interview tbh

I don't expect him to criticise Pepe or the players.
I don't expect him to criticise Soriano and the board of directors.
I don't expect him to spill the beans on our transfer targets.
I don't expect him to update us on 115.
But I do expect him to at least address the issues that have divided the fans and the club directors this seaon. Which is very important.
If not, and in all honesty, what is the point of Khaldoon's end of season videos?
As rule they are nothing more than cherry picked PR guff.

He shared his passion for crane spotting !

He's seen more cranes in Abu Dhabi than I will ever see.

Saying that, Manchester's record crane count is 82, covering the city centre and Salford Quays. :-)

I need to get a life. No wonder I've got no real friends.

My only friends are on BM and on SSC-MCR :-(

Can ask in all seriousness. Did he say anything remotely exciting, or did he touch on any issues on and off the pitch that have effected the club, Pep, the players, and the fans this season, or was it just another PR Puff piece with little or no substance? Thanks.

Watch it.

Watch it.

I've watched all the videos previously.

Some of the videos have been interesting.

Some of the videos have been boring.

TBH, I don't want to sit through another boring video again.

Its subjective. Look at the comments. Most like it but some really don’t. Only you know.

Just thought it might be easier to watch it rather than wait for Bluemooners to answer your questions.

I'll be honest as I always try to be.

I have no interest in the CFA.
I have no interest in the women's team.(even though I like them to do well)
I have no interest in CITC.(even though it's a great cause)
I expect a general overview of the season from him.
I expect him to be disappointed with this season like we all are, bar a CL place.
I expect him to give us some general transfer snippets, but nothing concrete. Which is fair and understandable. He is never going to reveal our transfer targets.
I would be interested if he mentioned the North stand expansion.
I would be really interested if he discussed some of the following issues. The fan protests. What he thought of them. Match day ticket prices. Why season ticket and ticket prices were frozen for next season. What he and the directors are going to do to make matches more affordable for our local fans and families. To grow our youth and future support. The new must attend 10 game rule. Etc. These things/issues and more are very important to the fans. We need to know what Khaldoon thinks about them.

Fair enough.

I will watch the video tomorrow.

I'm always interested in what other BMooners think of what Khaldoon said and didn't say.

I wasn't have a go at you. :-)

You can probably skip it. It's ok. It's not riveting. There are no revelations. But let's face it: there's probably a lot you could skip on the OS. And indeed on here.
I listen to it more for the general sense of being reassured that this club is in fact being run by people who really know what they're doing. He recognised (in diplomatic terms, but what else is it going to be?) that they made a mistake over the non-recruitment last summer. Which means they won't do it again.
All of which makes a sharp contrast with what's going on over in Trafford.

I have no doubt the club is in safe hands. Maybe that's where the video should end.

As a well polished national and international politician, pressing the flesh with a certain Donald Trump in the Whie House, Khaldoon isn't going to be phased by normal people and the odd moaning loon :-) on Blue Moon.

If Mansour had bought United, and Khalddon had over seen it's running, I dread to think what would have panned out. Look at the pigs ear Scruffy Jim and Omar are making of United. Thankfully Mansour bought City.

Why do have to always look on the negatives ?
I'm not 'always looking for negatives'. That's unfair. I post a lot of positives about City. I've given City 1000's of hours of my personal time highlighting numerous positives about City over decades on BM and on SSC-MCR. Saying that, I won't shy away from the negative issues. We have to discuss the negative issues as well as the positive issues. It's only fair. That's what fans do at home, in work, in the pubs, at the Etihad, and on Blue Moon. :-)

He`d have had that fooking leaky roof fixed by now. ;)

Didn’t think you were.

I’m a big fan of your work on here TBH.
