Khaldoon's End of Season Review 2025

From what I know I would be very surprised if 115 is even mentioned, if it is I am sure it will be the usual line of "we feel we behaved correctly and await the verdict" You won't be getting any kind of scoop on the 115 until we have a verdict and like others say, I think and hope we will go to town on the whole thing

When the old man from the frontier lost his horse, how could he have known it would be a blessing in disguise?
That's what great about Bluemoon, one minute you see people talking about Phil Thompson being a thick **** and the next page you see a joking reference to a 3000 year old Chinese proverb. There's nowhere quite like this place.

How many parts does the interview normally come in? Is it 3 parts?

I would love it, just love it, if we got cleared before the final part gets released and there's a hasty redo...

Dream scenario, I know.

I sometimes refer to these as "The Maine Road Massive" in an affectionate way.

I don't think your idea that these people "preferred" being shit is really accurate. There's just an element of nostalgia in a lot of society now to back when things were a bit simpler and this seems to play a large part in it. Also, football tribalism has a lot of pretentiousness about "authenticity" in it and it does seem more authentic to be a fan of an unsuccessful club. I get asked innocuously by people if I'm a "proper City fan". By that they mean pre-takeover. The phobia of the gloryhunter runs deep within the football fan psyche.

One of the interesting things about being a mod on here is that the mods tend to try and get to know posters personalities a bit in order to try and moderate them better. Doesn't always work obviously but there's usually an attempt made to read back through their posts when something gets flagged up and see what they're like. There's people who have been on this forum for 10 years plus who are, well, just pretty negative and pessimistic towards everything to do with City no matter if we're winning Trebles or fighting relegation - it's not them trolling or anything, it's just how their outlook on life is. One such poster I remember posted the hours after the Istanbul final that they felt sadness because they thought their support had "peaked" and we would never achieve that again. It's a fair opinion, but it's an odd one after the greatest moment in our club's history instead of wild celebration. Some people are just built to look at us pessimistically. They're not cunts, it's just how they are. Expect the worst and hope for the best isn't a dumb thing when so much passion is involved.
A much better and more sensible expression of my feelings on this matter than I could ever hope to write myself.

As a young shiny suited sales rep in the late 80's I had a hard time dealing with some of the older buyers I came across in factories around Birmingham and the Black Country. One of the more experienced guys in the team explained it to me.
"Some people aren't happy unless they've got something to be miserable about" One of my great life lessons! :-)
