Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

no chance of ever signing a napoli player, we've been in three times and walked three times. even if they go in for him napoli will keep upping the price and Net Spend FC will walk away as they do every time with that club.

Great player though he is - I hope we stay well away from this one.

ADL loves to boost his personal brand by playing hardball with City.

Going back in for round four and expecting it to turn out differently would be the very definition of a complete waste of a summer.

Be very surprised if ADL dismantles the team he just built after losing the last 'era' players (Koulibaly, Insigne, Ruiz, Mertens etc)

great player but surely just too similar to grealish in position and style

Had we signed him from some infancied club he would have been called a CFG signing and even before he kicked the ball fans would have called for him to be sold
Yes, that might be true if he was but he isn't…

He’s an instrumental player playing for a very decent side who are top of their league.

£100 million is what they will want for him and it’s upto us to either agree or disagree . Plenty raw cheaper talent in Europe tbh such as the Hungarian lad at red bull.

I think it's one of those rare (though increasing common) transfers where if we are told it's £100m+, then we turn round and hand over the cash. I think he's that special. Not sure where it would leaves Foden and Grealish if he did come, but I think Mahrez would be accepting of a bit part role.

Trouble is I can easily see Napoli asking for over £150m, which is probably too much for us to justify whilst maintaining financial sustainability, unless we of course want to send a message to the rest of the footballing world.

Spending £500m or more on players is something many clubs can now do. Spending it on the right players however is something we still do better than anyone.

I would suggest however that anyone dealing with Napoli this summer goes early and goes big. You'd have to accept the figure on the table or move on. They have a few promising players who may be open to a move but don't need to sell more than one of them.
