This one is so obviously not happening for every reason - cost, bad relationship with Napoli, they’re saying they won’t sell at any price, we don’t need a LW, it’s just new toy syndrome.

He’s an amazing player, we can’t buy every amazing player that comes around, and we’ve got Grealish and Foden who Pep sees as LW not midfielders.

Exactly the same as the Felix thread where people want a player who can’t play on the wing or in midfield and would never get picked ahead of Haaland…but he’s a great player and fun to watch.

Like he was a hyped prospect but Napoli spent €10mil on him last summer and now what, he's worth €100mil or more

Maybe after two or three seasons of performing at this level, he's currently in the best team in the league but Italian football is currently in an awful state...think wingers like Bowen, Zaha etc. Would be tearing it up if they played I nthis Napoli side

To be fair I think he was considered worth a lot more, he was the best player in the Russian league, but left for free because of the Ukraine war.

He signed on to a Georgian team (because Georgia has a winter transfer window that’s 3 months long) to basically stay fit for the months between March and the main European transfer window and Napoli payed a nominal fee to the Georgian club.

If someone wanted to buy him from Rubin Kazan in January 2022 it probably would have cost 30-40m

as much as i would like him in city shirt, i hope he stays at napoli for his sake. i don't think he'll make it in premier league. three four seasons in italy then move to spain.

He is truly a great player but if he comes to our team he will suffer. Like Grealish, he needs support from a traditional left footed left back and combination player with a striker. Something current City lacks. We need to spend money on not one but two quality fullbacks this summer assuming Cancelo won't return. Otherwise no winger will have a good time. Halaand needs to improve his combination play (think Kane for example) and it will improve our attack massively. (Not saying Halaand is not great. He is already world class but just something he can improve on)

It will be 200m already. We probably will have a little budget to bring in a back up winger but it will be 30m range at max I reckon. Possibility someone young or an experienced but old back up. Rafael or Kava just pipe dream wake up blues.
