I would quite happily register an interest with the players agent and if Newcastle agree a deal with Napoli at that point we match it

Personally don't think we will get him, but this is why I don't want us to rush to bring just any player this window because I think we should be absolutely all over this guy the summer afterwards.

He's a special talent.

We now need players that either have the potential to be superstars or make an impact in our team straight away. Kvaratskelia makes an immediate impact and instantly improves our first 11.

Agree with this. Let them do the dirty work and then we can let the player decide.

I like your optimism and rate Kvara quite highly he'd be a great player to have, he's a top drawer dribbler I'm in total agreement there.

But, you're saying our weakness is at least one dribbler with great dribbling skills?

So you've never seen Bernardo's crazy dribbling skills, Mahrez, Grealish, or Foden's too presumably... Thinking about out wide (I'm not counting pacey dribblers here) and actually basing it on pure dribbling ability in depth, then I honestly can't think of any other team in the world that is more blessed than us.

Bernardo is literally one of the most skillful players in the world with the at his feet you can't get it off him, same with Jack our wide men they all play in a way to mainly keep possession though, every opponent of Mahrez too knows exactly what he's going to do yet like Robben defenders can't stop him if he's at his best.
 
I would see this doing the same as with Rice. put in a bid when we now its 100% not accepted and then signal we are out of it.

I get that but also feel we can add one more depth on the wing, especially needed if Mahrez and Bernardo goes.

Don’t get me wrong get the right/ left wing, but I think given the undoubted quality of him then we would make it work.

He has it this kid, Pep would make him amongst the elite.

Him, Grealish, Haaland, Foden and Alvarez would be a great front 3, with Foden also getting games in the centre.

To have a chance at getting the player? To make a rival team pay more for that player?

Plenty of reasons.
