So, let me get this straight. You are flying back from holiday on the same day we play the chumps final. And the only thing you are worried about is your house and all your belongings?
Have some perspective, ffs. There's a big game on, and you are one flight delay away from missing it!!!!!

I work I'm the security industry.....I have a very different perception.

I'm looking for an answer to the question however and not a discussion on the validity of travelers. They asked my 11 year old daughter for Google map images of our house....that's a worry.

Yeah, she got it up on Google and it had the address on the bottom of the image do she zoomed in and screenshot it so the address wasn't visible.

And yeah, she says she said Hazel Grove - but having gone mental at her she keeps backtracking on what she said so I can't be sure tbh.

My daughter and this travelers kid are both 11 so it could he innocent but seems very dodgy to me. Just want to get home now.

I told her, don't get too friendly with her, stay away etc but you know what kids are like. The more I told her to stay away the more she was at their table in the evening.

I suppose you have to just hope a bit that it is just the kid wondering where her friend lives and not the parents kinda using their own kid to get details without her knowing what she is really asking for.

To get the truth from her you may have to go the calm route and just say to her "whatever the answer is i won't get angry, dad just really needs the truth". I fully understand your frustration with her but you know what they are like, they just say whatever they think you want to hear if you are stressed over anything.

I bet you need another holiday now just to relieve the stress from this you poor bugger.

Can anyone advise me,

I'm in mallorca and my kid has become friendly with some traveller family.

Over a period of time she's ended up telling them the area we live and then tonight, the day before we travel back, she has sent then screen shots of our house from Google maps; they clearly show our house and only our house.

Fortunately perhaps she has scrubbed out the address from the picture.

I've done a google lens search and although it shows houses like ours none of them actually show our house.

Is there a way of these travellers extracting the location of the house, whilst we are on holiday, from the screen shot before we get home?

Worried I might get home to a robbed house or else why would they have been asking her. My kids only 11 and despite me and her mum warning her she didn't know better.

It’s a lovely day, ask any of your non-City supporting mates to go round and have a bbq and a few beers in your back garden. Then if any gypos come round looking for stuff to steal there’ll be people there to fuck ‘em off.

Anyway, I doubt they’ll be smart enough to work out your address from a Google map photo. Not exactly renowned for intellect these people are they.
