Dropped my youngest at Leeds Uni today.

I went there many years ago now, and stayed - great place, wouldn't change a thing :)

best of luck to your young 'un, been out tonight in a pub opposite the Uni, all the freshers are out and living it up, they'll be fine, and you're a great parent for giving them the opportunity to experience the life!

She's been on to say she's met loads of new mates and been out last night at the Union. Another 'do' tonight!

It's certainly an emotional time. Missing her already but glad she's there.

Dropped our daughter at Liverpool university yesterday very proud ,got her settled left about 3 o'clock by the time we got home she had befriended the other 5 girls in her block.then got a text at half past 2 this morning when she got in . Happy days wish I had had the brains to go when I was younger.
