German hill walking hat and massive tash in Shalke, Policemans hat in Poznan with flashing light (seemed appropriate), Afros and disco shades in Turin, Spartans helmet in Greece but what would be appropriate in Ukraine. Considered a Ghengis helmet but may have been nasty undertones as they weren't friendly to locals so after careful consideration I have opted for a chicken hat as that's all I can think of for Kiev! It's a turkey really but don't think they will notice! All others featured on TV so hopefully the Blues sense of humour will shine across the airwaves once again! Off to airport for some drinking practice now, see you in Kiev centre!
Found this Irish Pub on the web. Seems to have all the football on TV Barca v Arsenal Tott. v AC Milan. O'Brians 17a, Mikhalivskastr. http://www.obriens.kiev.uaThiggy said:Alright everyone, I'm flying out Wednesday morning from Heathrow and flying back Saturday afternoon.
Any ideas on a meetup or anything yet? I think most are flying out Wed and back Fri.
For any of you that are staying till after Friday - on Friday evening (5pm local time) Obolon Kiev are playing at home, I might go along to it! I think it's 80p a ticket! They play in the Ukraine top division, they're 10th, they are playing the team that is bottom.
