What to wear? German hill walking hat and massive tash in Shalke, Policemans hat in Poznan with flashing light (seemed appropriate), Afros and disco shades in Turin, Spartans helmet in Greece but what would be appropriate in Ukraine. Considered a Ghengis helmet but may have been nasty undertones as they weren't friendly to locals so after careful consideration I have opted for a chicken hat as that's all I can think of for Kiev! It's a turkey really but don't think they will notice! All others featured on TV so hopefully the Blues sense of humour will shine across the airwaves once again! Off to airport for some drinking practice now, see you in Kiev centre!

Anyone checked out the hotel on Spikes trip..looks a belter..proper old Stalinist gaff right on the big square and a few minutes wobble to the ground.
