Yeah, I don't see the point at all. Maybe if another centre back is leaving but if it's just Laporte then Gvardiol fits us much better.

Looks very good. Similar to Dias in a lot of aspects. If we're carry on with 3 at the back with wide centrebacks, he looks like he'd be best in the middle - so not sure he'd be the best fit as a Laporte replacement, but hes a good player still.

Dias MkII without a doubt and far too similar, if Laporte does leave which seems certain we need to replace with a left sided defender.

Theyv'e been trying to get him to sign a new deal since October, I think he'd have done it now if he was going to.

I hope he stays at Napoli - I don't think we'll be in for him and I don't want him going somewhere else!
