Anybody whos drank it; Does it make you tell your boss to fuck off after you do something special and he ignores it?
As I said before, my dad will always say 'two relegations in three seasons'. And he has a point.plenty of bitter Kinkladze whine on this forum - fkn star, not many could match his vision/flair. One of the most balanced, intelligent players ever to grace the English game.
2 relegations in 3 seasons but it didn't have to be for him - Barca came in for him after that first relegation and he chose to stay at CityAs I said before, my dad will always say 'two relegations in three seasons'. And he has a point.
But anyone who had an ST 96-98 (except my dad!) knows how poor the team was (as well as lacking leadership and confidence). Kinky was almost always the only bit of joy for us in those games in (what is now) the Championship.
Sat through some turgid stuff with (no offence to these honest pros) Beesley, Briscoe, Wassall, Heaney, Van Blerk, etc....but then Kinky would do something magic and you'd have some faint hope again that we might pull ourselves up the table.
It's the hope that kills you.
Wine hasnt arrived yet - will do a Jilly Goolden style review once we've had a swig or two on Fathers Day.
Yeah, what might have been for him. Ajax the wrong team too. Doesn't seem gutted at all when interviewed though. The love for him from Blues was pretty unique, even after he left.2 relegations in 3 seasons but it didn't have to be for him - Barca came in for him after that first relegation and he chose to stay at City
Did it twist you this way and that and leave you flat on your back?Verdict: had half a bottle of the red today on father's day...very quaffable! I'm not expert but good flavour and not too heavy. Definitely worth the half price at 14 quid, and a bit more tbh.
Bought half a dozen but not tried them yet. Will post when we have.Sorely tempted! Has anyone on here tried it yet?
I would love to go back.Just back from a week in Georgia; everyone makes wine ! Good it is too. Tour guide was impressed when I told him what linked me with his country was Georgi K.
There's a great little craft beer scene in the Old Town below the Mother of Georgia that's as good as Sheffield or Manchester, but it's the people who make Georgia wonderful.I would love to go back.
Was there in 97 just after the civil war and the place was fooked, seen pics since and it looks amazing.
Yes I must go back before I'm too old. There's a great little craft beer scene in the Old Town below the Mother of Georgia that's as good as Sheffield or Manchester, but it's the people who make Georgia wonderful.
