city will have to be looking at wages for players also because ANOTHER new PSR rules coming in all about % of turnover to wages allowed! If a club drops out of champs league and you're on the limit of PSR with wages you could fail then end up with points deducted!

not being in the champions league = lower wages and bonuses
so it's unlikely one will follow another
 
It wouldn't be a shock if he ends up at Chelsea. Fits in with their latest recuruitment policy but not a player they desperately need.
 
Bloody hell if true it shows how much the rags are in the shite money wise. They obviously don’t believe he is the generational talent the media has been blowing smoke up their arses about for the last 12 months. Them also extending Maguire’s contract shows further they haven’t got any extra cash around for player recruitment. Oh well they got a draw at Anfield though.
 
No more rags ever. That would be my policy. Millions of players out there we dont need any that played a pivotal role for them winning trophies.

Not sure on Spurs rumours but I really rate Gomes as a player. I'm absolutely amazed the rags ever let him go in the first place. Never heard us linked to him but he's played with Phil through the England youth set ups and I think he'd fit in our system. Looked good as a Deep Lying playmaker for England.

Which is why this thread should never have existed.
I know we signed Tevez, but that was a bit "needs must" and different to this. This one we DON'T need, he'll probably have a decent career but I doubt it'll be top level. Just looks good amongst the shit they have for me
