Is the problem solely to do with builds or is it also individual apps.

Pretty much what TCIB said, the whole Kodi add-on 'scene' is under severe scrutiny right now and I'm really not sure how safe it is to host this build anymore matey :(

We go back to the old ways, underground. The scene will survive rather easily due to it's robust nature and if it really came to ultra extremes i know enough .us cappers to fulfill my networks needs anyway on a 121 basis. For example ex dimension capper records 3 shows a night and ex ctu member does 3 for me, i do all uk shows for them and we have a private ring already covering essentially 100% of uk/us tv. The same goes for guys who have access to movies, they offer us their rips, we give them all our tv, then you have tv and films covered and so on. That is the scene but is a stripped back bare bones fashion, the end result though is you click play, the file plays :-)

I wish we could go back to the days when all anti piracy groups were incompetent numptys :(

As you say the scene will always find a way to keep going but things like what CD were great in that there was a huge community and allowed piracy to thrive, the scene is obviously (for damn good reason) alot more exclusive in its nature but the more public piracy scene is coming under heavy fire and I'm not sure it can continue to survive :(
