Afternoon All,
Not used my firestick much for a while, it’s bloody slow to respond and I reckon that’s causing lag when trying to use it to stream - just like an old laptop that is running low on available memory and maxing out on cpu usage - can’t remember off hand exact figures but I think I found that it didn’t have too much available space.
Anyway, how do I clean the fucker up? Cache etc.
Tbh, I can’t even remember if at some point when kodi was updated that the previous one didn’t get deleted etc etc.
Best way to clean it?
....and please note, as is pretty obvious from above, I’m a lot of a Luddite when it comes to tech. ;-)

I did on both android and amazon tried different builds nothing worked then one of my old build turned to Kodi 18 leia and it kicked in, but i was using filelinked for apk`s by that timeI think they may well have already done it?
My KODI app just refuses to launch from the Firestick.
It was working OK last week and I switched off the 'auto updates' in the settings.
Anyone else having the same issues with KODI on an Amazon Firestick?

I started to find Kodi too unstable myself for IPTV and eventually switched to perfect player in the endCurrently using kodi 18.1 to view my iptv.
Recently I am getting frozen pictures from time to time but if I use my old Wonderbox app for same iptv perfect tv.
Seems a kodi problem but is there another explanation because not seen others with my problem

Go on kodi site and put 18.1 rc1 over the top of it, there was a few issues in 18.1Currently using kodi 18.1 to view my iptv.

Smarters had a big update recently, you can add as many external players as you want to it, and enable different ones for say live TV, movies etc.... With default player you can check ffs, resolution. XCIPTV is relatively new with a few updates already, it's from xtream codes so they know what they are doing.Haha I'll try your two suggestions in that case mate
