Kola the nutmeg king!

He is also a master at winning free kicks. There are countless occasions where he cleverly stutters on the ball and they barge into his back. Often this happens when we are under pressure so it can be a big help.

As others have said his improvement under Pellers has been astounding. I well recall he was the favourite hate figure on this forum a couple of years ago.

So kudos to him for his perseverance and strong character. Speaking of which I am sure he has a post football career in movies as an Eastern European hitman. He has the stare, that's for sure!

Yeah, check out the Russian hitman in the second Bourne movie. He looks just like Alex though not as hard of course.

I reckon Aleks is a hard bastard; I wouldn't like to fall out with him.

He must be useful to have around if there's anything kicking off and he seems to have a lot of leadership qualities.

Jingle bells haha
U wouldn't wanna have him in your way for 90 mins would ya.
He's leaner and meaner this ssn could be his year they ere all after him in Italy
And I want him to stay.
You made a believer out of me boy.

Just watched P ardew being interviewed on North East News" Quote "Kolarov is like having 3 extra players in the team.Loved the meg Alex new crowd favourite.

Alan Pardew - "Aleksander Kolarov is like having 3 players on the left flank" He's a changed man

Has been outstanding if late. Pardew just described him a "like 3 players"..

His attacking threat is phenomenal. Defensively he's getting better. He hits hard and is getting better position ally.

His passing is severely under rated, yes he has a fantastic cross but his ability to pick a pass out is very impressive. He seems to find a man that most can't see.

I've always liked him, he's now getting better and better..

RealRonaldo, FakeRonaldo and Van Basten? Or Ben Haim, Danny Mills and Joey Nobrat?

I almost got goosebumps when I watched footage from last years pre-season, when young George Evans got into some physical trouble with an opponent. Who rushed across the pitch to back up the youngster? Kolarov did, pushing the opponent player away, suggesting with his looks and body language something like "I'm your problem now".

Since then I just loved the man, seems like a really good person.

Anyone know which clip I'm talking about? Is it on the OS maybe?

In edit: Found the video. It's at around the 8:50 mark.
