Deservedly so. He told someone in the East Stand to do the same thing earlier in the season and everyone cheered him for doing it. Different over in fold yer arm corner, though.

Well i have been a fan for 40 years and yes i have heard plenty of people moaning at players bur not on this scale yes he has had his fare share of shite games but a player that wears the blue shirt should not get that sort of abuse on a match day does it help the team does it fuck.

Richard Edghill was on the receiving end of something rotten when he had a bad time against Coventry - and he had ten accomplices in the poor performance arena that day.

He wasn't at all - the first goal was a shot from range that he wasn't involved in, the second was from a quick free kick where he was left two-on-one thanks to Toure falling asleep and where Richards was beaten in the air by Bendtner, and the third was given away by Toure allowing them to break. Kolarov could possibly have gotten back to stop the cross, but Kolo Toure needed to get across and he chose to stick with his man.

I can only see some blame going to him for the third goal, but certainly not all of it and certainly not two goals.

Don't get me wrong, I'd play Clichy ahead of Kolarov 90% of the time. And also people's memories of games can skew - I only remember a lot because I watch and re-watch and re-watch stuff when researching articles/books/blogs I'm writing, so fair's fair!

Oh me too. Clichy was in our top five players last season and is one of the best left backs in Europe. I don't particularly rate Kolarov, at times he's been poor, but I thought him telling fans to fuck off was funny!
