Sorry but I don't get the hatred.

You obviously missed him telling our own fans to fuck off

I don't blame him he did nothing wrong during that game and was one of our better players

He, Kolorov, had no real desire to play for us than say the last team he played for. What I think our club wants to do now is find a player with desire and incentive to play for City. Fernindinho," I want to play for City." This is what we seek, Hart, Fernandinho, Navas, Kompany etc. I do believe there will be major upheavals this season though we know what we are about. We have pride back ,to wear the shirt of Sky Blue is now important in Europe and Worldwide.

They deserved it. Not to mention if someone is that sensitive to reaction they probably shouldn't say dumb things loudly in public . It's pretty feminine to hold a grudge that long for something so petty. Multiple times I've seen kolarov cover a pretty big distance to stick up for his teammates , which to me says more about his character than telling someone to fuck off.

Always protects his team mates first player over

Well said rick773, Kolarov did not deserve the abuse he got that match & I should think he didn't expect it from people he thought were our supporters, supporting the team he plays for!

You probably don't rate the player but no player deserves abuse from their own supporters.

Don't know why anyone would have a twitter account. You open yourself up to abuse especially rival fans pretending to be city fans. Can't tell who's who. It's ridiculous and moronic.

My thoughts exactly.

If people are this sensitive - and judging by the reactions to what the press say about us we have a lot of sensitive little souls following us, there'll be fans coming on and saying that they moisturise after shaving and wear lip balm soon - they shouldn't even bother leaving the house, never mind attend a football match. They should stand, holding hands, with their mothers while she does the ironing instead of not being able to take it back when they open their mouths in the big wide world.

The thing is with Kolorov, he is a decent player or certainly was at Lazio and has gone backwards a little. He has decent pace, can cross and shoot reasonably and can get to a position to tackle but hesitates but isn't afraid. I too remember this time last year in a friendly against the Turkish team he ran forty yards from full back to stop the Turks from ganging up on George Evans.

I think he lacks confidence, the sort that needs a different kind of managing. Now, if I was at work, and someone called me all sorts of shit I'm sure I would react. I may be shit but no one tells me. I know we pay our money but giving that sort of stick (it happens in the east stand too) doesn't help him or the team. Smacks of parents on a touchline in a kids game. Maybe MP can give him back his confidence, but I think it's probably too late for that. At the end of the day he wants to play more - and he knows Gael is better.

If reports are to be believed this morning he is off to join Tevez at Juve.

-- Thu Jun 27, 2013 10:10 am --

If reports are to be believed this morning he is off to join Tevez at Juve.

Richard Edghill was on the receiving end of something rotten when he had a bad time against Coventry - and he had ten accomplices in the poor performance arena that day.

He wasn't at all - the first goal was a shot from range that he wasn't involved in, the second was from a quick free kick where he was left two-on-one thanks to Toure falling asleep and where Richards was beaten in the air by Bendtner, and the third was given away by Toure allowing them to break. Kolarov could possibly have gotten back to stop the cross, but Kolo Toure needed to get across and he chose to stick with his man.

I can only see some blame going to him for the third goal, but certainly not all of it and certainly not two goals.

Lol.

Gimps making stuff up to suit their argument, eh, BM? Funny when the truth is laid in front of them. Wonder what their reply to you post will be. Haha!

Don't get me wrong, I'd play Clichy ahead of Kolarov 90% of the time. And also people's memories of games can skew - I only remember a lot because I watch and re-watch and re-watch stuff when researching articles/books/blogs I'm writing, so fair's fair!

Haha, I remember a lot of your podcasts were full of mistakes. The question round where you asked each other questions were full of "don't know" and "I'll have to pass" on pretty basic city knowledge.

The MUEN reports that he 'wants to leave City'; Can you really blame any player who wants to leave after the abuse they can get from their own 'fans' if they have one or even two bad games?

Everyone who has hurled abuse at a player think about their own careers, have they never, ever made a mistake at their job? Have they never ever had an off day at work? Have they never ever felt ill when they have been working?

You know the quote: "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone", well blimey we have a heck of a lot of saints on this board.

I just hope that Kolarov stays with Manchester City because I think he deserves a chance and I think he can do a great job. IMHO

as my granddaughter says......... SO THERE!!

this. it helps no-one to get abuse shouted at him during matches.if there is a better player available then we should let him go and he will go with my thanks for his contribution to the team

Good.

Bit of backbone, giving it back to the numpties who like to give the players shit week in, week out.

Can see where you're coming from mate but I think in this instance it was very unprofessional at the very least. I was in the south stand and thought he was out of order (but I didn't boo him afterwards)

I remember reading some of the stuff people put about Gibson when he joined twitter, i remember thinkning that's funny because he is rubbish.

Out of everyone in our squad, the only one i actively want rid of is Kolorov.

If being a left back involves legging it up the wing, doing that little flick inside with your left heel and then twatting it as hard as possible in whatever direction you happen to end up facing, then i fancy myself.

I asked my young lad what he thought about Tevez leaving, he sighed and went, i wish he'd take Kolorov with him.

Bring back Michael Frontzeck
