Vieira's goal...?Andouble said:Chick Counterfly said:Are you quite sure about that?
Bridge, no succesful crosses in 2 years.
Kolarov manages several every time he plays.
Same story with goals and assists... Bridge 0, 0.
Kolarov has managed both in his first couple of months.
131- Kolarov has delivered more crosses without registering an assist than any other PL player.
Scrap that... Vieira's scored at least twice directly from AK crosses/corners.

He just smashes the ball into the box without even thinking or targetting anyone, a hit and hope with lots of power. Mind you, if we had a goal poacher more of them might find a target. Boateng is a better crosser but can't seem to get into the positions to cross as he has been found out as a full-back in the Premier League and needs to play CB.
Most of the time he either smashes it low accross the corridor of uncertainty or picks out the pull-back. There are aspects to his game that have disappointed but his crossing has been good (if uneven). it's just a shame the others don't have the same nous for getting on the end of it as Vieira, who read his intention and made the back stick run. Most of the time we have no-one doing that.
Boat's crosses in competitive matches have been really disappointing. I'm sure he has it in him but he's shown far less than Kolarov.
