Natural to be disapointed after the wait. Sporting are one week away from their season and they were dripping wet after 10 minutes. Having said that some coped better than others. Was disapointed with Lescott and Kompany. Zab was lost and gave Cunningham no help and Johnson didnt know what to do. Jo looked interested in parts and I thought Micah looked good going forward. WE had a full team missing.

A game in that heat and humidity, after two weeks at a training camp...with perhaps four regular starters in the team.
Against an opponent a week from their league start, in an area filled with portuguese immigrants that made it a homegame to them really. To boot they are more used to playing in such weather.

No, I´m not surprised that we lost...It was in my book a chance to get a verdict on some youngsters and others that might be considered for the future.

If we want top 4 we need to keep Bridge - if the first choice signing gets an injury - you could end up playing Garido for weeks at left back - that would cost us in big games so we really need good back up. Bridge showed at Chelsea he happy to play understudy and so would I for the money he's on.

brilliant news glad this lad will be signing so price and contract agreed just the medical monday i presume and get him to america asap!

Gotta be nailed on. There's no way they'd put that up if they weren't totally sure he'll be a City player, they've never reported on an ongoing transfer like that on the OS in a specific article just solely about it before.

I would play either robinho or bellamy instead of the scared, overrated johnson who just seems to lack balls anytime he meets a physical aggressive defender,he was shocking today.

Didn't even try to attack his full, his so called pace was nowhere to be seen and his passing and ball control were abysmal for a player said to be skilful,i guess it must be the step overs that get people confuse.

If we can convince robinho to come back then i would play him with bellamy first off the bench and johnson only for easy mid table teams.

No way lescott after today deserves to start,he is too slow and clumsy.

ok now i know city played shit today..but adam was in a new formation, his first real game back for the season, in a position hes not familiar in. how can u say he was overated after he was team high in assist last season in half the games.

we lost but dont say stupid things.

your infomation is wrong :)

Spot on mate and very strange for them to do this i thought!

I look forward to a similar revelation about Balotelli ;-)
