Gotta be nailed on. There's no way they'd put that up if they weren't totally sure he'll be a City player, they've never reported on an ongoing transfer like that on the OS in a specific article just solely about it before.
Only a medical remains.

I must admit I am not sure why everyone has got so anti bridge he hasn;t done badly it seems though to be self perpetuating the more people say he is terrible the worse everyone thinks he is. The lad did ok.

If you watch the goals we conceeded last year or the things that cost us dear a far lot more happened on our right hand side of defence. It was there that Giggs skinned us, it was there we left a gap for owen, it was there someone was free to cross to Scholes it was there that sending offs happened, it was there that crosses came in to let the likes of Bolton score against us etc etc.

yet despite the facts showing that the right flank was where our problems were everyone has decided to blame bridge.

as I say a mystery.............

But then again I learned on this transfer forum that Ibrahimovich is sh*t and Ade is lazy despite the evidence showing the opposite so I guess facts just aren;'t reality?

i agree with you....some people on here are like spoilt children...just cause we can now afford any player in the world (not that we could sign any player in the world) people just seem to always want the next new thing

again like a child...gets a brand new toy and a few months later it doesnt like it any more even though there is ntohing wrong with the old one

bridge is a very good left back.

him and kolorv will have to fight it out for a starting position, but its also intersting to see that RM says that kolorov can play in midfield (presumeably on the left hand side)...so we may see them both in the same starting line up at times....kolorov has a decent cross on him and is quick so it maybe against very strong teams that we play him left side of midfield with bridge at left back

Bridge will be the one to stay and Garrido will go IMO.

He is a good Premiership player who will play a significant part in our season.

This is just one of many positions that will be rotated throughout the season.
Both Kolarov and Bridge will be rotated and get as many games just like Tevez and Balotelli will be............it's horses for courses and the way it's going to be this season.

I am not anti-Bridge - good squad player - just not 1st choice if we are trying to win the PL

I am anti-Micah though - main problem we are so weak on the right

I think Richards if he is patient and learns by the time he gets to his mid 20's could become a great player, my worry is he needs to knuckle down and he needs a lot of games when he is not under pressure for his place and where the game is tactical.

Honestly a year on loan to a team in Italy where he would get games would be a great bet, I think he has everything he needs except concentration and experience but I am not convinced we can afford to give it to him if he costs us goals.

Maybe Mancini can do it?

i hate to see him play like he did at OT, but I would hate to see him become the next Maicon at Spurs or someone else!

Lets sell Bridge now and keep Garrido and Zabaleta as a backup for Kolarov
i rated Garrido for the first months of Svens reign, but quickly realised that he can't tackle or defend. Having a sweet left foot just isn't enough. Nice guy, but not a top 6 player. As for Zabba, he's briliantly determined but keep him central or on the right. Bridge and Lescott are the only viable cover.
