Outstanding again today. By my recknoning that is 3 goals and 8 assits for the season. We all know he has deficiencies in his game but I hope this maybe the turning point for City fans to be more vocal about the qualities he brings to the team. Its a similar story with Dzeko, attention is paid to his negatives but forget how crucial the 18+ goals will have at the end of the season.

Hopefully some will reconsider there stance about the player as incredibly some still say he useless going forward.

The MoM award today was a bit strange, but his two assists were fantastic. I'd still have Clichy as first choice left back, but Kolarov is a good option for games such as these. Those dismissing him as shit should acknowledge his contribution today.

We've tried this before, it doesn't work because he's not a natural winger and isn't athletic or tricky enough.

When he has space and time, he can put in a good cross.

No, he can put in "a undefendable cross" we have the players to create the openings for him. He must be amazing in training as Bobby often brings him on in tight games. TBH i still much prefer Clichy at left back but Kolorov on form can change games!

hes capable of being one of the best left backs in the world but hes frustrating when it comes to defending and i think his atitude at times isnt right,i"ll never forget his performance at anfield pre fa cup semi final against the red shite he was shocking but today he was top rate....baffling.......

Had a great game again today, but there is a reason for this. Kolarov plays in the games when Clichy is rested. In other words, against the weaker opposition. His defensive responsibilities are at a minimum in these games, so he mostly has to focus on getting forward, which suits him much better.

I'm not a Kolarov hater in the slightest, I've been one of the few defending him. His delivery is brilliant, and his work rate getting forward is brilliant. Look at him legging it down the wing to put in the cross for Mario's.

Watch his balls again today for the goals both first time hits, first touches on through balls hit hard with perfect accuracy. No one else at city could go close to such delivery bar maybe Mario. There will be plenty of games where we need his strengths and plenty we will need Gael. Glad to have the choice
